wtf is up with this post? Who the hell are you to tell us to "stop whining" when we are voicing our concerns over league policies that we believe are very damaging to the league? Are we not allowed to voice concerns about how to make the league better? How the hell do you get off with telling Kaze to stfu because hes being forced out of the league for a bad reason? I don't think anything we have said has been out of line thus far, so I don't get how you think its acceptable to come in with a post like that, which would do nothing other than piss people off.

Why is the time such an issue? I don't understand why TWO of my players are basically forced out of the league because they can't play at that time. With submitted lineups we can just make the time Friday through Sunday schedule matches with the other player and play them. I don't see how that would be stepping on anyone's toes.

In the end it might boil down to the fact that if the league rules and time don't suit people, they just don't participate... Seems pretty logical to me. Changing the time will be pointless because any time will exclude some people. I think that the PP match idea due to line-ups can still function in the case of line-ups being posted the day of... The people who are missing can agree to play at a later time anyways? I don't see the problem there.

If there is some way to postpone matches and reschedule them so people can play, even when they are submitted the day of, thats a different story, and would work. I have no idea how that would work, and would be rude to the people who do show up only to be asked "hey, can you play sometime later?" but would better than nothing.
To clarify, I don't think the time is as much of an issue, because no matter what, one time isn't going to work for everyone. But allowing for a system where matches can be rescheduled CAN work for everyone, as long as people are mannered enough and want to play. I really don't think completely eliminating the possibility of rescheduling matches will help with the WO rate from last season.

New rules will need to made to specify this, but I think it's a good idea. The main purpose is to allow reschedules and make the league as accessible as possible. How are people supposed to get fired up about BW if they can't participate in a fun team event and are told "well if it's bad for you, don't play." I don't think such a dismissive attitude is productive.

I'm not whining nor am I even that angry. Incredibly annoyed that I'm not allowed to play, definitely yes. I've given reasons as to why I believe pre-submitted lineups to be superior backed by personal experience in a different league using the same system. I am completely unaware of what sort of problems last season's DRTL had as I was not involved; however, the reasons I brought up in my last statement were those given to me in this thread. I'm not flaming anyone (I don't even know anything about anyone in here aside from my teammates lol), but if people are seriously raging and giving DRTL bad press because of being punished for late lineups (again, this is a reason given to me; I am clueless as to how accurate this statement is), then do you honestly think these people will not cause trouble in the future should things not go their way again? I also don't understand how making a direct comparison of leagues using the system in question is "pointless crap." Incidentally, I hear lots of complaints about CSL regarding the rules getting broken by admins as opposed to the other way around.
And for the record, it's not like I think the admins who are running DRTL are some huge assholes who are just messing around. I'm well aware how much work it takes to organize something like this, and for that, I praise them. But regardless how incredibly awesome they may be, that doesn't mean they will always make the best decisions. I am honestly concerned that changing the way lineups work is a very bad decision and if I'm not allowed to voice my concerns and state my reasoning with factual data, then meh =/

Eh there is no talking sense to you sentenal. As for Kaze I didn't know you were forced out by unreasonable rules and for that I apologize and got out of line. Regardless Sentenal has a point to a small degree and I won't discuss more of the rules to add more drama to the season. I just hope everything works out the idea,partnership, and set-up is nice and shouldn't be made another horrid experience like season 2.

It's looking like the only way forward is to change it back. It seems to be the way people want it, which, after all, is the way it should be run. I just hope it doesn't become too hard to enforce :/

I am already in a squad in the BWCL team, that plays the actual BWCL league. Thus I cannot join the TAKK squad (http://starcraft2.ingame.de/bwcl/?m=clan&clanId=2103), because it is not allowed to be on two teams that play the same game. What should I do?

OK. Now it's less than 24 hours until the first match, and we still have a few teams with dangerously low player counts, and a bunch of free agents with no teams. Why haven't we had a draft yet? If we aren't going to have a draft, atleast tell us, so these teams can sign the players necessary.
