I miss real brood war though. What they are playing now is a sad excuse for brood war.

Yeah, I feel it's kind of lazy. Should post full results, instead of sending me to another thread and making me open two more spoilers :/ I would have just went to the SC2 LR report if I knew.

Didn't even knew they were going to play today TT it's not that bad thou, since with this time schedule I couldn't see it anyways. Did season 1 have better audiences than before with this time slot? Or wasn't a starcraft thing and it was more a "it's time for another game to be on prime time" thing?

It does 80 damage, so a storm will kill the workers if they do not move away I think. Hwever most players will move their harvesters in time. I think stromdrop harrasment will also not be used, solely because of the fact that sentry harrasment (forcfield the mineral line in then warp in zealots) is more efficient.

The truth is, with Sc2's AI, its really easy to avoid storm drops, the workers dont stack in eachanother and you dont have to click on a gas / mineral to make them run away without a problem. Also the size of storm is smaller. Like Blizzard wanted to destroy every old school protoss harass from BW to Sc2 >.<

You can but SCII Protoss kinda doesn't harass much since they try to amass a giant death army like BW Terran. Its more that than storm drops being crap. As for reaver type drops, zergs can load up banelings inside overlords and execute what's sometimes called 'Bane Rain' either carpet bombing workers or the clumped up Protoss deathball.

You are right, however carpet bombing, although still being hard to pull off, is not nearly as dificoult as Reaver micro. Its still a very nice and underused "mechanic" in the game, which, when pulled of properly, is disgustingly effective!
