I wonder how good he is at BW. Well we will get to see how good motive is in BW next week :p Sad to see Effort losing but still, he looked better in sc2 than the others I saw so there's hope for CJ ![]()

SC2 watcher here. The thing is because some of these players have no concept of harass right now, games are just mass up and fight. Now, generally if you do that, Protoss is going to win. The games look simple because of this. I urge you to check out other SC2 tournaments to get a feel for the real metagame, it's really quite exciting. These guys seem to have good mechanics, and once they learn the game i'm sure they will be great. Terrans need to pressure Protoss and Zerg. Protoss should really have to pressure Zerg. While Zerg can mass up but have great run by options. But more than that there are just a TON of things these guys aren't doing right now.

Overall the best sc2 game thus far was still Lizzy's first with those sweet feedbacks and storms. I do have to say I will be incredibly happy if we go the whole day and not single collosi is made by any of the toss.

Just play him in one set. Given that there are only 7 matches in a round, 1 win is actually pretty important. And by next season he can play full time. Lizzy doesn't even have to play a single BW game to be helpful.

The problem with PvZ is the unstoppable protoss army if P has 160 supply or more unless the zerg has broodlords. So watch for the transition to broodlords. That's the PvZ key. If the zerg does not keep the protoss army small, Z dies to a push like that, while teching up. So, in response to a poster above, 165 supply "was" max. Zerg was waiting for his broodlords to fill the rest of the population. I would suggest a link to a quite nice strategy thread if you'd like to be able to see more easily what's happening in PvZ game: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=320038

With this format they woudlnt even have to win there BW matches, they would just have to make sure to not lose the sc2 set then win the Ace Match when it applies.

I think it was more that Effort invested so heavily in Roaches and Lings relatively early on but couldn't pressure due to Lizzy making Immortals. Had he gone for a smaller amount of units just to keep mapcontrol he could have either gotten Broodlords or maxed on Roaches and Infestors to hold off that push.

Something to note is that he's on the same SC2-rotation as Flash is, so they can put him up third in BW and put Flash and someone else (HoeJJa wasn't played, for example, or maybe if the rotations change, Stats) with the hopes of taking BW 2-0. Then again, there's also the possibility that he was signed for BW and just happened to also be amazing at SC2, so he has something to bring to the table for BW as well.
