Still tasting the fresh blood of ArtOf and Sea, we already have new victims lined up for next weekend.
Next Saturday we're playing guild GnH, home of players like Daezang. We're going head to head in 7 1v1's, bo3, on the maps: Luna, LT and Rush Hour.
On Sunday we will play guild [Shield], with players like Bisu and Sea, both young promising good Korean players. In this clanwar we'll play 7 1v1's, bo3 as well. Also the same mapset is used.
As usual, we will provide you with replays of the matches, as well as live updates on this website. We hope to have some great matches, to our entertainment, as well as yours. Place your bets~
Well I think GnH can beat ToT if they show up with their best players. These Korean guilds don't seem to bring their best players to these clanwars normally though, so I'll bet on ToT in both.

Probably not thinking very much of ToT, that might change though... I'd really like to see Daezang play, but I have a feeling he won't.
I agree that they probably dont show up with many of their best players, but all in all they had better start. Especially after this weekend. 10-0 and what..10-2? or something...artof and Sea. are not bad guilds, and ToT has deffinetly earned the respect that they deserve to have the otehr clans show up with the best.
EDIT: BTW, I know i'm probably the only one that still enjoys to figure out games through replays, but still, this time could you post a link without spoilers first?
Or Perhaps make a new topic? Both of these last matchups I noticed the score before I found a like to the replays, which takes some of the fun out of it for me I guess ^^

Shinhwa is a good terran (or was, I think he just recently got back to playing but not sure). Not the famous one. SiRaSoNi, don't remember if he's good - not the famous one IIRC. Zerg I think. Prince[GnH], hm, why would this sound familiar? He's not bad though (zerg last I heard). Magic[GnH].. Hm I think terran, but that might be wrong. DaezanG[GnH] is the one and only :O

The game on nostalgia rocked though.
Yeah, and considering Mondi is like invincible on nostalgia zvp (from what I've heard ), I think daezang vs mondi could be VERY, VERY fun on most other maps (even though the gaema game was bad ;D We'll just assume it was some miss game).
We have been playing many clan wars vs korean guilds? I mean the regame vs POS we only lost by a little So I think ToT has a chance vs almost every korean guild! nice to see people start realising that
I wanna kiss kiss when the sun dont shine oohowh0oh

I think ToT is going to win both CW. These games will probably be alot better because GnH and shield know that ToT members are no pushovers. Course in order for GnH and shield to win they gotta learn to defeat ToT's skilled zerg playerss. GoGo mondi, sen, incontrol, and whoeverelse i may be forgetting.
ahhh...it's almost relaxing reading the comments on this site.....in contrast to arguing with every kiddo at gg.net.... btw. it was 3-5 vs P.O.S. but it could have been 4-4 easily-watched the reps a long time ago and i don't know who, but someone fu**ed up a sure win....

That won't be released, brain shouldn't have said anything about it ;/
Mondragon vs Daezang (they faced each other long time ago, Daezang underestimated him there^^) Avernum vs Marine (pure TvT art) Testie vs Boram (remember that game?^^) Sen vs U-238 (dunno why, sounds good)
Seeing as though i've expected them to lose v teams like ArtOf and Sea. and they didn't, i'll go ahead and support them for these matches. I guess I put too many expectations on those west guilds.
I'm glad ToT) is doing this for the community as well as testing their potential.. GL all.

I mentioned it because im so damn cool i can do that. Mondie doesnt want it released, but if u guys want a similar experience go watch "Saving Private Ryan" and replace the US soldiers with zealots/templar and the germans with Mondragons ling/ultralisks and have the germans win with great micro and fantastic timing. Than paste "GG" on ur TV at the end, basically the same experience i swear.

Well, I think it was jude who said it, and she's not as much their leader as the one with the best english
But this was in no way a bad lineup for them to show up with, I think they took ToT seriously. I wanted DaezanG though T.T; And too bad Shinhwa and pain is in the army
Shield is gonna smack em around tho...I was talking to TT1 today and they're actually bringing a line up including 4 progamers: bisu[shield] sea[shield] kosiro[shield] doksu[shield]...look how badly they raped -=iG=- with a crappy line up...
how was their lineup crappy? they brought bisu sea oops and mujuk which are all pretty damn good, caruto and spear couldve been switched with someone better though...
[gm] and probably the two clans which won this clan event in korea...i don't know how it's called and what the clans are called, but it was posted as a topic here too....

i don't know any details of that tourney though....
BeMannerDuPenner ..what about bo 1? -_- In response to myst.. there was Avernum's loss replays in the pack, and odd losses such as anon's in his series... I was going to get spawn's losses vs bisu too but the guy logged off, I did my best to get those replays and all I get is faggots complaining that there isn't enough replays or whatever.. you should be grateful you get any at all. This discussion has been had before and last time mondragon got wind of it he was threatening not to bother posting the replays at all, so if I were you I'd enjoy the replays you get.. you might not get anymore.
yeah, cant see why some ppl have a problem with that. it happens so often that you push 'ok' instead of 'save replay' after a lose cause you're so annoyed about that game
look at Midians game1, havent seen the game yet but pause the game when his overlord is finishing and notice the difference. What annoyed me was that the player@left A: started his drone faster and B: did a slightly better split, if he hadn't screwed up his 4th drone the split would've been A LOT better than midians, still after 1:30 Midian has a big advantage, ONLY because of his position being better? That's a fucking joke imo, even more so if they play that version in the korean leagues.
:O although i made a mess of my split i still got 32 minerals collected before him, my 6th and 7th drones started before him.. i dunno if the positions are that bad but i've noticed something similar on LT with zerg at 9, where it seems to mine slower than everywhere else. Also he was slow moving his 5th drone to mineral patch, you'll see it pauses.. hm, maybe he put his drones on inefficient patches first also, i dunno.. but I hope you're not implying i won because of that=[
no i didn't even watch the game when i wrote it, i just thought it was a pathetic map, his first 3 drones were alot better since you got yours on 1 mineral, the 4th lagging is not that important because if the first 3 are fast, you will get the 6th drone started without the 4th drone having to turn in his minerals anyway, also the 5th drones came out faster. Everyone wants to play games on equal terms, which is not the case here and same thing goes for 6 on regular LT etc, just a hint that it should be time for a Luna release
i don't believe that was Luna the final so there have been releases since then, but he made the game so ;p still, i hardly think he's going to complain about that-_-
it has a bigger effect than you seem to think, you will have every drone faster, and that advantage will just continue to grow because every drone started mining earlier

That was 2nd fOu Team League. Alive brought all their gosus like CaSy or First, same did S.sIR taking sOo and HwaSIn to play. [gm] brought not a very good lineup, but still lost to Alive only 2-3.
and if not for this series, is there anyone who kept all ToT vs Korean Clans series? This is really stiff competition and it would be amazing to see how foreigners kept toe to toe with koreans, even though this was already when Korea had pulled ahead of the foreign scene for the most part.
I still have replays of 2 clan wars, ToT vs Artof and ToT vs Sea (clan, not the player ^^). For instructions on how to watch old replays, go here: http://repdepot.net/patching.php

Bisu vs Savior was in 2007. The OP mentions "young promising good Korean players" such as Bisu and Sea.

I know this is an epic necro post (well, I guess mine isn't, but yours was ) but that article was really amazing and it'd be cool if it was read by more people. Really well done article, worthy of being featured here IMO, if that's possible.

Bisu was still really young. Biggest ZvP upset vs Bisu is against MyDream in IEF2010 imo.
Also the reppack 2Pac posted features Sen dominating Leta !

Why must we have this discussion? lets just get all out now. Bisu's biggest upset was never winning an OSL.

pj 2-1 savior was way bigger, since that was on a real tourney, might've been towards the tail end of 2007 after 3/3 but he was still super gosu zvp anyone who wasn't bisu back then i think
Ah, those were the times. I accumulated a lot of results from clan wars kors vs foreign, because I planed to make a liquipedia article about it. If someone is interested in it: (some may not work anymore) + Show Spoiler +
