He was clearly planning on doing the hydra range/ling speed allin, hydras knock out the gateway real quick then hydra/ling runs in and kills everything, but free would've had too many cannons by the time the gate died.
He didn't even take down the damn gateway (and forge).
And 5 cannons is nothing to a full hydra (or hydraling) pump off 3 hatches

Classic free, really - wtf early game into "Wait, where'd all those heavy units come from?" mid/lategame.
lol this is basically like that epicly long game between him and JD from a while back that ended with mass reaver+archon
That's what I immediately thought of when he went zealot before cannon. The early units on the map can really screw up a "standard" Zerg because they force extra lings and/or sunkens. It's not safe play for P by any means but I love it.
Wouldn't it instantly fail against a Zerg that has competent ling control?
The trick, I think, is being very careful with the zeals *and* getting the first cannon up before ling speed. But I'd have to actually analyze a bunch of games first and idk if there are enough out there to actually draw conclusions from.

Free had a higher zealot count than normal from his opening, so Action had reason to be timid.
Although, at that point, you could argue going for that type of allin would be dumb after scouting the gate first, but it's possible he only prepared that build and had no contingency plan
I would rather have seen Light come out to be honest. I know his TvT isn't exactly stellar but a long TvT game could put more pressure on Flash's wrist and he has beat FLash on this map. Also Flash is just >>>>>> any zerg but JD recently and after losing 0-3 against Flash in the MSL final how intimidated is Zero going to be?

I'm happy it didn't work out I don't like KT buying their way to victory with CH and Action.
In other news, Zero's toast.
Well Woongjin picked up Really (still not fantastic but much better Terran than anything we had before except MVP on his one hot streak) and Light (hey, Woongjin has a real Terran now!), as well as Flying who... still sucks. So Stars did a little buying this season as well and it worked out. Fact of sports, really.
Its different when an already power house team buys players who every one think will become A-class (Action). Woongjin needs those players to even be in the competition. I was hoping that Really would go to Hwaseung...

3hat hydra is normal on that map, even when it is not a all in.

I believe ZerO said he wanted revenge on Flash in the Khan interview
