Yeah that drop left me with a itchy feeling afterward. ZerO didn't manage his Lurkers properly (could have destroyed the academy at top) and forgot to burrow them after unburrowing, he also lost 2 overloard to flash's rines. But I REALLY loved that move by ZerO when flash got blocked to entered the other half of the map by Lurker/Ling/Dark Swarm and tried to entered through another bridge and bam ZerO drops Lurker/Defilers and block that entrance as well. That move made me scream "holy shit".
IMHO, strategy wise, Flash's army was not blocked by Zero. He put them there on purpose. He was trying to out multi task Zero by hoping to catch any mistakes in Zero's push. Flash can "A click" lurkers very fast, we've seen this many times. But unfortunately for Flash, Zero's front push was flawless.
Yeah try to A-click on Lurkers under swarm with marines.....
When they unborrowed and move. That's when you A click lurkers. I didn't explain because I thought everyone knew ^.^

Well ZerO's Lurker were under dark swarm. I explained it and I thought you would have known.

Woongjin Stars vs KT Rolster Day 2 Shinhan Bank Proleague 2010-'11, Postseason week 2 Saturday, July 17, 2011 13:00 KST (04:00 GMT (+00:00))
After thinking again about this game it seems be obvious that Zero's build countered Flash 5 +1 opening really well.
Flash responded correctly once he scouted lurkers. With delayed tech due to his opening he wanted to slowed down lurkers and buy enough time to get tech. But the stop lurkers screwed him. Once he lost the map control he was doomed. Zero took 3rd and got defilers while Flash had to invest in tanks slowing down his first vessel even more. Once defilers were out the game was decided. Without map control and enough vessels nothing could stop Zero from running over Flash with swarms.
To sum up, an amazing play by Zero. And Flash really didn't do anything wrong except of getting short end of stick with his build and then running into hold lurkers. But this is a result of Zero's great play rather than Flash being sloppy.
I hope today Flash will bring some interesting builds to turn the table.
I have a pretty meh feeling about day 2 for KT but hopefully they get some good match ups and pull through. Feel like CH should have been ace for day 1 but that has passed. KT fighting!
It actually was "sloppy" play on Flash's part. I am pretty much certain his marines were in sight of the burrowing lurkers. But that's what happens when you play so aggressive without vessels; look away from one second and it could cost you the game. His defense to the drops were phenomenal though.Pretty sure he could have came back vs weaker zergs.

But when he's not playing with anything on the line he just gets blown apart (proxy 2 gate underneath an overlord).
Well I wouldn't say this was the one time (think back to Stars vs Khan day 1 a week ago). And he lost then, so not exactly as clutch as we'd hope :c

Looks like I'm eating most of these words because 2 of the big three were taken out and BOTH Really and free won. Good job to Stars and ZerO, too bad I couldn't watch yesterday's match, hopefully I won't jinx today's by watching *knocks on wood*
Where was Zero with smart builds in the finals? You shouldn't blame map, it was easy to predict Zero as ace player, so I believe it was lack of preparation from the Flash side.
