I personally think losing 3-4 to one of the best TvP players ever is pretty damn good, so credit to Strafe for that. What I'm even more enthousiastic about is that Gundam won and we'll be seeing him some more. Against what I would consider a tougher opponent that Strafe.

But he was just hoping to surprise Gundam with that, despite me telling him explicitly not to when he questioned me about it earlier on. I told him if he's going to do that, he had better have a ramp. It's actually a feasible strat in 9 vs 6 PvT on lotem, and on some other maps in other positions as well. Edit: I do not think Gundams build on Neo Forbidden zone was particularily bad. I think he was hoping to surprise him more than anything else. Killing observer, knocking out probes, possible drop defense, and the going m/m/tank was decent as well. But Strafe played safe and sent an observer to his base first, instead of oh say.. 4 zealots or something. Not that most people wold drop first though on Neo Forbidden. ;-) I think Gundams TvP there had some credibility and looked kind of sneaky / smart considering the situation he let himself get into. Unfortuneately he was found first with observer. As anyone who goes gol drop on that map first will be pretty much 100% dead. Some people think Gundam played badly there... but I don't really consider it that bad at all on maps that vs most people would favour a protoss. (I do not call many maps like nostalgia imbalanced, because you can get around that).

If Gundam wasn't touching those tanks reaver would've died EDIT: I totally can't understand that siege/unsiege masturbation...

He had idle scvs in his main and his play looked very sloppy. While gundam may not have always been noted for his macro, the nostalgia game was really bad in my opinion. Its not strafes fault that gundam didnt play that well, but it does sort of discredit some of the games. going 2 port wraith on forbidden zone was pretty stupid thuogh, i havent seen anyone go reaver on that or dt drop since its so easy to the expo below tyour base with gates and such onthe ground Hopefully gundam plays better in the next series vs whoever ;d

No real reason except for my extreme hate for Gundam.
