Scarab is a melee attack, afaik? Tank is ranged, etc. I'm probably wrong.

I don't know what that means though, I haven't seen the good play from bogus yet this season (I haven't seen all of his games though..) You are seriously opportunistic imo. You didn't see that Jaedong did exactly the same thing last game, with just a couple of small errors, but also with mor brilliance from time to time (the two-proned attack, the defence of the bunker rush)? I'll take that criticism gladly, seeing JD play well again does that to me. But I think you are oversimplifying here. "A couple of small errors" included over-aggression, attacking the terran where he was strong with inferior forces, and staying on 4 bases for way too long, sometimes mismicroing. Maybe when I rewatch the game, I'll be able to see my own assessment mistakes, as I'd love to be wrong in that regard.

Makes sense. It's ranged too though but I guess spell > spell animation effect.

Maybe when I rewatch the game, I'll be able to see my own assessment mistakes, as I'd love to be wrong in that regard. He turtled on 4 bases in both games to make that doom attack that killed Last with uppgraded ultras. It was his game plan, not just some random shit he made up there because the terran pressured him too much. He did exactly the same thing vs Bogus. Atleast, that's how I understood. I could be wrong though. Tbh, if you didn't know about that game plan, his play looks very static. That's probably why he has been looking bad against protoss when they manage new timing attacks. Personally I prefer the agressive two base play he did before, but maybe that has been figured out. You almost never see zergs do that anymore, which looks rather silly right now in zvp especially - but maybe it just isn't viable/safe. I hope he will be able to show some new agressive zvp builds in the MSL finals against Stork. edit: thx for the OP btw and the LR'ing ![]()

Damn, I don't think I've ever seen such beautiful zvt. Especially the game he got cheesed, it looked like Jaedong was losing it, but no, he somehow held on. And then, against Bogus, he was down in BO match overpool vs 1 rax CC, but the Dong still came through

no. The single lurker is the focus of the attack, so it recieves no splash damage. However, if a lurker were to be right beside or burrowed on top of the original lurker under fire, it would take splash damage. ie you can't splash a single unit. DUH Ahh... noobs everywhere =).
