And that seems to be an exaggeration. In the past year when he was winning Starleagues and destroying PL, he was playing more than turtling. Sure he turtled some games but there's more exciting game that people just didn't watch because they hate them for destroying their favorite player.
Hell he even said in his interview that he tried to make things exciting for the audience to watch. But haters gotta hate.

Ricjames i wasn't soo serious. But seriously Flash has changed his playstyle alot since 2008. He is one of the few players who can play every style and does every style better than any other terran. Thats why he is so good.

Flash has been the most aggressive player in all three TvX matchups for the past year. I have no idea why people like you keep insinuating he does nothing but turtles, or even turtles more often than he attacks. Sometimes you're forced to play defensively depending on what your opponent does, especially in the unfavored matchups (TvP, ZvT, PvZ).

Ya no doubt. Every one of those games were pretty intense for awhile until later when he pulled ahead. I really enjoyed watching. Especially against Fantasy.

TvP is not unfavored to Flash. That's how good he is. Also, why was Bisu the Ace? Sure Ssak had an MSL match imminent, but isn't Bisu infamous for his appalling PvT? Does anyone think Fantasy's idle SCV was game deciding?

Flash attacked Fantasy first. Since he was going to lose his 10 and 11 o'clock bases, Fantasy had to attack Flash's 3 o'clock. That's when the tides turned.

Less pressure on the rookie and more pressure on the seasoned player, I'm guessing. Maybe 2 TvT's and then 1 PvT is some kind of strategy.
I would think one of the T1 Zergs or even By.Sun would be a much better starter than Best. KT has several competent toss, their terran superstar, and no zergs worth mentioning. In the last winner's league KT rarely played Flash first and often reserved him for their 4th player. So it would make more sense to save T1's best vT players until they know they're up against Flash (Best, Fantasy) and lead with their better vP players (any of the zergs, Bisu).

Lol some people really have no idea what they're talking about. It was a greedy build which saw him get 6 bases and a large amount of probes off little tech and little army. There was a timing Flash could abuse before bisu began mass gateway macro mode, which, with 6 baess, would have been near impossible to stop. Flash hit the timing before that happened, and thus won. Bisu took a calculated risk, knowing there would be a period where he was really weak but he'd be in an excellant position right after that. Flash just attacked exactly when he needed to.
