The game between Flash and Best was just great. If you care only for the quality of games, that one was amazing. Unorthodox, fun, filled with constant action. A treat for every BW fan.
Yet you openly say you would be disappointed if Fantasy (player you like) beat Best (player you like more) in that fashion. If you would be disappointed by that, what could you feel when a player you don't like beat a player you do? Hate. And that hate grow stronger with every such game, no matter how great it may be.
You see, I believe that you originally just didn't enjoy Flash games. That's cool, I myself don't enjoy many players out there. But guess what, I don't write countless post about them because I simply don't care.
Just admit you hate Flash because he regularly beats the crap of you favourites, it's a fair reason too.

I dislike Flash, and I'm an SKT/ Bisu/ Best/ kinda-Fantasy fanboy, and I don't like the king of the hill format in general because it takes away from the "team depth" aspect and focuses on those who have a single best player...
but seriously, let's get over it. That's the way this group of games are played. You always play to win, and you're supposed to do whatever it takes (besides cheating, obviously). Flash outplayed Bisu. Flash outplayed the rest of the people he beat. He outplayed them, by definition, because he won. Bisu, for instance, didn't have storm or enough stasis and kept throwing away units. He needs to learn PvT from Best. He lost. Doesn't matter how.
And I really wanted SKT (especially Bisu) to roll KTFlash. But let's be objective and stop the QQ.

I don't get why Bisu and Best fanboys are complaining about Flash being boring when Flash has proven himself to pull off any sort of play. Bisu and Best are so predictable... each of course good in their own way.
Best is freaking damn good at macro and PvT, but what he does every game is the same thing over and over. No one goes in playing Best thinking "man im scared, what the strat is he gonna use?" Everyone is scared of Best because they think "omg Best has good macro".
When you play against the Dong or Flash you def shake in your pants about
1. how they are plain good
2. no idea what strat they are going to use.
Against certain players, its more or less obvious what they are going to do. No player can assume Flash is going to turtle. You can't 12nex or 14cc or 3 hatch before pool every game. If you do he will kill you. There have been numerous games where he has punished greedy players. Then again, you can't play too passively against Flash either, or else when it gets to a macro game its going to be hard as hell to win. That's why Flash (and Dong) is the best player. Right when their opponent walks into the booth they are already disadvantaged.
Furthermore, Flash has some of the best crisis management we have seen. Even when he is disadvantaged or gets caught off guard, his play remains calm and his control excellent. Flash has given us some of the most amazing comebacks in BW.

So can anybody explain to me why SKT threw away their Best chance of upsetting Flash in the first game? With a deeper team, they could've easily had him in reserve until Flash shows up.

If I had to take a wild guess (and oh, look, I'm taking a wild guess), it was maps. Empire of the Sun is easily the best map for Terran right now (pending a few more games on Bloody Ridge and La Mancha, I guess). Circuit Breaker isn't great, Fortress is good, and Aztec is horrible - but in any case this is Flash we're talking about. I think they expected Flash to come out for the first game: in that case if BeSt won, good; if he lost, BeSt lost and that was their best shot to beat Flash. If a Zerg came out... wait, KT doesn't have any decent Zergs, BeSt would probably win. And against KT's Protoss, they probably thought BeSt was an auto-win.
So I really think sending BeSt first was a great decision, until he managed to lose to Stats (who's not really a great PvP player, either).
The mismanagement, I'd argue, came at the end: sending Bisu (you know, with his generally sub-par PvT) against Flash (who is Flash) on Icarus (which is decent for Protoss but not overly so) just doesn't seem like the best decision. I'd have put Bisu out on La Mancha (new map -> good opportunities for Bisu's harassment style; balance still isn't set in stone), and prepped a Zerg (Kwanro if available, if not s2 or Hyuk) with a specific anti-Flash build on Icarus (which is a very good Zerg v Terran map).
But then, I'm not a pro coach.

So you like BeSt (and okay, who doesn't like him?), but then say you dislike Flash (only) for style reasons? And yes, style is what all your complaints about turtle into timing attack come down to: I don't like the guy's style. It is so tiring. Again and again some haters some to KT/Flash threads to claim that Flash is boring and/or only turtles.
Flash has proven over and over again that he is very diverse player that one cannot call those posts anything else but trolling attempts.
You don't need to like Flash but you have to be blind to claim that he only turtles and the fact that you do not enjoy his games is not equal to him being boring. It is a matter of tastes and whether you like him as player or not. If you hate him for some reason obviously you will not enjoy his games no matter what he will do.
And BeSt is one of the most predictable players. Macro, macro and macro.
