Flash wont have any problem today. He is to good at tvp and I think paralyze has had his fun now.
Stork vs Sea is the most exciting game to look forward to. Two great players at this matchup. Sea really need to win this and Stork does to since he have a very hard game vs Shine in his worst matchup next. And Sea of course who lost to shine just have to win this, or he need to trust in Stork going 3-0 and Mind beating Shine but thats not likelly to happen.
People will get disapointed when the flash vs paralyze game gets super one sided. Flash will role this guy. I would love to see afrotoss win but with Flash losing his first game and also got that SPL loss to Light he is just out to make a statment, and if he wants to do that, nothing can stop him.

2 losses is nothing , his play is no where near shaky
2 goons and a zealot sitting outside Flash's nat, they move in, goons hit the bunker, Flash is quick to send scvs to repair, the zealot dies without killing anything.
Nexus started at the nat, Flash's scv scouts it before dying in the main, don't know if the scv also saw the robo

Afro's carriers are getting hammered by goliaths. Flash has 9 factories. Vultures left laying around keeping a look out for expos. Afro trying to break Flash's 10, unsuccessful though as the narrow choke points make it difficult.
Afro losing some carriers, Flash's army looks quite scary as this point and is just as large as Afro's 2-1 for Flash He's moving out behind Afro's main. Carriers snipe a few tanks and the goons are fighting off the goliaths. Afro doing a somewhat decent job with the carriers.

Flash trying to go back around Afro's main, another carrier sniped Flash backing off for now, he's holding his position between the bases though

eh just because he survived past mid game doesn't mean he necessarily played really well. flash isn't the kind to try and finish people early when he's ahead but rather he tries to play out his advantage and play safely.

Well, the map did favor that kind of strategy. It's often better to go for something that is expected but works really really well on a certain map than trying to be fancy and unpredictable with an unsuitable strategy.
Frotoss lost too many units/interceptors in indecisive attacks. He needed to either commit his forces to attacking a location, or he needed to take a defensive stance and expand.

Thing is, nothing works against Flash usually. So you might as well go with the strategy that works best against 'regular' opponents.

He actually did commit his forces to attack at 10, but he pulled out after losing a lot of units. He would have lost his entire ground unit if he had kept going.
I do agree though that he should have taken a stance and expanded whilst he still had a large army. He never did any real damage to Flash with his reaver (at the beginning), nor his carriers (nothing that wasn't easily replenish-able anyway)

Hiya forcing Hogil's lurkers to unburrow and relocate. Hive finished, defiler mound in the making. Hogil trying to delay that army with lurkers. 1 dies to tank fire. Lings running into tanks, but marines take care of them. Tanks now shelling those sunkens, one down!
Lurkers engage! Sandwich with lurkers, tanks go down so do a lot of marines. Hogil holding off that attack for now!
Crucial defiler steps out and casts swarm near the nat, hogil taking his fourth expo at 3 Marines roaming around in the middle of the map.
2 dropships enter into Hogil's main, mnm unload they run right into the mineral line, 4 drones down. Fire bat included in that drop, lings arrive but die before they reach the army. 2 lurkers and lings arrive to try and remove that drop force. Marines micro around the lurkers and take out some scourge
Hiya attacks the nat , swarm goes up and the marines back away. Another drop in the main, Hogil's main is flooded with marines, hatch being targeted along with defiler mound!

I don't agree with Stork trading goons for SCVs AND taking a fourth at the same time. I think he should've EITHER used his unit advantage to weaken Sea's economy, OR used it to buff his own.
Stork still has a commanding lead, and cleans up Sea's drop harass. But he wouldn't have been open to drop harass in the first place had he not traded away his units earlier AND gone for a fourth base.
Anyway, Stork's rolling Sea now, economic lead is just too much.
Reaver killing a few tanks, Storks army moves in, Sea losing all his units as stork over runs him. CC lifted and running from 2 o'clock Stork keeps denying Sea his third.
No upgrades from stork, stork has like 9+ gates. Sea with +2 weaps

i think sea pushed it to far with a 1 rax > cc a fast starport, drops and even fast upgrades he just didnt had any real combat units to defend his 3th with cause everthing was stuck in either tech or harras.
Vessel out for stork, d-matrix on the tank but it doesn't matter as the goons kill it anway, goons killing all the tanks in the nat. Fresh vultures arrive to defend. Stork has his second wave ready though. Shuttle dropping zealots on tanks. Sea transfering his scvs.
Zealots and goons advancing on the nat, won't be long before Sea is overwhelmed
How does Stork do that, how can he outmacro Sea like...that....first the mutual drops and suddenly Stork just rallies overwhelming numbers of lots/goons into Seas base. Crazy.

It really requires more mobile troops for map control, and arbiters are good at stopping terran's advancing over choke points. And protoss has advantage in movement speed

sad that hydra lost, i felt the game was very close and probably was one of the very few that enjoyed it, every ZvZ is aways unrecommended by the pools

If Shine beats Mind it'll be his 15th win streak, and you know what that means. Least expected from, Shine without much fuss does what he can best, busting everyone here and there. This poor zerg hated by everyone already has more victories in a raw than Bisu's and Flash, that puts him in position with Jae. Will he take his 15th win? I think this player deserves a separate thread, no matter how his style is discouraging, I'm starting to like him more than any other lavished-with-attention idol.

Don't forget about the Kal v Hyuk game, there are 2 possibilities for Paralyze still.

This group is wide open in the ways that it can break down though, lots of options.

I don't think you're reading it as I intended. I would put hyuk > flash at like a 10% chance and that may be too much. But the fact that anyone can still make it in and the different ways which the games COULD break down make the group wide open.
@Seraph I guess that's true, I didn't even think about it too much when I posted it, the Kal Hyuk game doesn't change Paralyze's chances too much except in who is the 3rd player in that 3-way playoff.
Someone PLEASE explained to me how the hell did Stork lost tons of probes to Sea's harassment and 3 Goons and STILL be able to march in with his army, killing Sea's third (or what was building at the time), expand twice and get freaken 10 Gateways. I don't know what Sea did wrong but Stork just somehow burst Sea out like that.
I expect Calm to beat either hiya or jaedong so we're probably gonna see a tiebreaker. Group 4 is probably gonna be modesty+fanta. Other than that, solid predictions
Just watched Stork vs Sea VOD, sick sick play! Commentators were completely charmed by Stork's manly and almost "tyrant-like" (they said it!) play. They also said stuff like "Zerg-gene", "hyper-aggressive", "beastly", and other stuff and pretty much let me sum it up, we all love Stork.
