HEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH And this sort of post is why I'm going to stop reading this LR thread and do something else for a bit. Why do you have to try and rile SKT fans up? I know I for one have already congratulated you guys after your team's good performance, so why the shit-stirring? Humble in victory and gracious in defeat... Everybody did this to KT last year, get used to it. People will allways rag on the dominant because dominance is boring if your team isnt dominating. To be honest, teams are so rapidly changing I can't really tell who's good and who isn't. Individual players are somewhat the same too. its still fun that some people take LR thread bragtalk so seriously (;

Well T1 is still ahead by a safe margin and KT is at the bottom with Ace and Oz, although recently KT and Ace have been improving.... sigh Oz :[ I feel really bad for them.

Oz is actually improving though. They at least have a promising rookie in Princess, with a few less notable rookies around. Hopefully those rookies will amount to something. Pretty sure Oz was worse a bit before their PL win than now though. I mean, they still have Jaedong.

On December 15 2010 16:53 alffla wrote: oh and can someone explain the positional imba in fortress lol o_O Spawning behind on the clock gives drop play a big advantage. Flash was at 3, BeSt at 6. That makes dropping in BeSt's main a direct line through Flash's nat. It also means that BeSt needs to keep heavy forces in both the nat (from ground units) and the main (from drops), while Flash can keep his forces in the nat (which block the direct path of shuttles). Any drop going against the clock can be scouted by units/mines/etc as it crosses either through the middle or along the edges.
Also, spawning right behind on the clock lets a terran siege his units right outside his nat and use a floating rax/ebay/dropship to give vision into the opponent's main, and allow safe elevator play (this wasn't in use this time, but is definitely an advantage of positions on Fortress).

It's been a while, but I haven't been this happy about a KT win in some time, so I think I'll do the interviews today. It'll be up as soon as the rest (non-Flash) interviews are up on Fomos and I finish translating it.

God, I miss the games on Fighting Spirit where no one could really argue that is was imbalanced. They really should use it again, such a good map. Edit: I actually saw some old thread where someone complained about how imba 12 nex on x-position is in Light vs PerfectMan. Although 'Fighting Spirit imbalance' yields very few results.

I'm very surprised by this result. And I see Ssak and Sun in the line-up instead of Kwanro. Okaaay..

I've seen some corsair PvT dweb usage in progaming. Don't remember exact games though.
But seriously, they are cheaper lower tech and faster moving units than arbiters. And why dweb is harder to micro? =/ I guess this is not being used simply because it isn't a standard - and thus it's more difficult because you have to learn a new strat (while the old one still works well). If we imagine a "protoss Flash", he would certainly try that, as he would want to win any game and have his strategy adapted to any of enemy's strategies

Admittedly, Flash's build looked planned, so I'm pretty sure that he was going to do something similar no matter what the positions. Fortress is pretty good for drops in general, so it probably would have worked even with the spawns switched. Still, fortress is really positionally imba, and Flash certainly showed us that tonight.
At least it's not as bad as Dreamliner's positional imba for muta's. Whenever a zerg managed to sneak a stack of them into the sweet spot between lower spawns main and natural it was almost over.

Takes 80 seconds to research, and can be rendered obsolete by some goliaths mixed in with the tanks (where as Arbs still provide you with mass cloaking, and stasis can't simply be micro'd out of). Also, you can get 2 stasis casts with a fully charged arb, and only 1 dweb with a sair (unless if you research energy, which is even more of a commitment).
