anyways - that was probably the most aggressive terran play i have ever seen by flash. + Show Spoiler +
Super hardcore nonstop dropship play ftw
lets travel back in time. 2 years ago: kwanro was in great shape and destroyed everyone in proleague round 1 for CJ. following rounds he was never seen again.... UNTIL he changed TEAM! 1 year ago: kwanro was in great shape and destroyed everyone in proleague round 1 for STARS. following rounds he was never seen again.... UNTIL he changed TEAM! a month ago: kwanro was in great shape and destroyed everyone in proleague round 1 for SKT. following rounds he was never seen again....
guess what happens next
kwanro to KT
and the combo ends as he falls ill of action disease
He fuses with action and creates the perfect zerg.
or maybe it fails and we get a zerg with action's early game and kwanro's late game
we had one of those. he moved to sc2.
and won a gsl
Says something about SC2 and the current level of play in the GSL, doesn't it?
Just watched Action v Bisu because I missed the first game of the series... really awesome fun game. Map seems hard for protoss late game but that doesn't mean Action didn't play great. Hopefully we can continue to see him improve on KT

Bisu see's lurker heavy army, then macro's round after round of zealots? No harass? Wtf was he thinking here? Action played well with defilers but really Bisu should have had an actual plan.
Edit: Now i watch the BeSt game, what was he doing as well? Did they practice these maps or what? Clearly heavy shuttle/dropship play is powerful (see Outsider), and he even scouted 2 dropships. Yet he had his units positioned in strange places around his base. Rather than the obvious big gaps. Instead of wasting all that time he could just just put down a forge and cannons at back of each base, got some shuttles and played him at his own game. Or at least get a single scout from your inactive stargate. I mean really what did he think was going to happen that game? Flash was just going to stop, even though it carried on working?
Fair enough that he had disadvantaged opening with a failed useless 2gate but he certainly didn't make anything easier on himself.

iirc Action did a pretty good job of making Bisu's early speedlots useless with mutas (the only time Bisu's zealots actually reached one of Action's expos they only killed a few drones). And the afk sairs (where he lost 3 or so sairs to scourges) hurt too, as he did not have enough sairs to deter mutas from sniping HTs later on. Then when the game reached Hive stage it just snowballed.
In game 6, Best's opening delayed his Nexus and he even went for a tech build (2 base Arbiter) I don't think he could afford cannons at back of each base (he could only build 1 cannon at his natural) and still have a respectable unit count. Not to mention the base is too huge for static defence to have good coverage

To be honest, Bisu was put in an awful position early on and never really recovered. He couldn't have reavers nor harass because Action wrested air control from him. Short of something like double stargate, he really couldn't get air control back. And he certainly didn't have gas to spare. Also, Action played better than he ever has before.
I honestly think it was a good effort on Bisu's part in recovering despite how badly losing his air hurt him.
Afaik Bisu scouted muta as the build anyway, and should have realized that speedlot harass was going to be too late and backed off at that point. You're supposed to hit that attack at the right timing and it clearly wasn't it... he danced around in the middle taking free hits for no reason then had to back off anyway. I think gaining air dominance with double starport early game and taking the corner easily defended bases with reavers as defence is preferable to this map, which also allows him to use his main skill which is his harass and multitask. I really question the SKT1 players practice on the maps. Also even with a disadvantage going for the unit combo he did is inexcusable, you can see more than a control group of lurkers out on the map by this point and he had a zealot/archon mix.
As for the BeSt game yes he was at a disadvantage and went for a tech build keeping him low on cash, but he had obs out and saw the dropships and should have had better predication/game sense and changed things up, especially in the positions they spawned in. One cannon/pylon placed at the backs of each base is preferrable to the amount of units he wasted trying to squeeze through the mins and simcity to get back there and defend. Obviously once the dropship count went up it wasn't enough but he should be abandoned his tech and gone shuttle heavy in response. That was probably the lone situation at least one scout would have actually helped for a change. Or just realize your 2gate failed, you're behind against Flash of all people and go for some all-in bulldog on the nat early on, considering Flash went starport that might have actually worked.
Like someone said before (not in this thread though), it's always easier to say in retrospect and when you're an observer that has vision of both players.
