Also, the individual players aren't so bad, and even perfectman is winning games. Hiya would be the terran ace on most other teams, while Jaedong is of course one of the two bonjwas of our time. Lomo, Killer and Backho are decent players but weak in some matchups (or just plain unpredictable like Backho).
One thing however is for sure and that is that OZ is weak against terrans. That STX has played three terrans already and still has one excellent terran left (Classic) shows that they've understood this weakness.
well, wouldn't be so confident, where are the results? I tend to agree on the fact that Hiya is ok, but others? are you kidding me? Its just now that Perfectman got lucky, Killer is only Sometimes can pull it against some other mediocrity, others, well, they are just sitting on a bench. I never understood the coaches of this team, sending Killer to play ACE every single game, god, I understand he has to play to learn, but when he doesn't deliver? I'm still strongly insist that OZ must buy someone.
Well they do seem to lack a good pvt player, but possibly perfectman can fill up that void. Besides that, both Backho and Lomo have shown to be able to win games when it counts. Remember the playoffs against SKT a while back? It was Lomo who brought it to ace after Jaedong lost against Orion of all people. Killer is a great talent and I don't know if you've seen his zvz, but it's impressive. His zvp is pretty good as well taking a game of Movie when the toss player was in his invincible pvz days. His zvt is terrible, but his fighting spirit still allows him to eek out a win here and there.
OZ has been one of the dominant teams of starcraft and although they've lost quality after both Anytime and ForGG left their team, they were the second best team only two seasons ago.
Saying Perfectman got lucky is to me, a sign of a lack of knowledge. Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.
its still difficult for me to judge clearly, as I can only read game comments now, but still anyway, as I said, to talk about how OZ is actually a nice team after all, for me, sounds a bit sarcastic now. But I will be only happy if Perfectman, Killer and Lomo will catch their pace, oh, did I just tell that? hehe
