great game light 1 more to go

I thought when Guards came out, Jaedong would snipe the sci vessels and then go into some kind of lurker move...

Knowing how to how to distribute limited numbers of irreplaceable tanks to defend a huge swath of the land against the full might of the zerg army IS gosu. If it was that easy how come progamers only started doing this so recently?

Thats not how starcraft works, I don't even know what to say. I can see why JD thumbs down the map

please light dont cheese next game into epic fail:D

can JD pull out of this I don't think he knows how to beat Light anymore
I think JD needs to use something Light doesn't have = incredible creativity Actually Light was pretty creative that game. Getting vessels (especially that early) is pretty unusual when going for a mech opening, but he made great use of them. As if the terran defense isn't imba enough, he added d-matrix to the mix.

Panic time incoming! Lurkers are really good against tanks and mines. Not as good as all his lings-hydras-ultra combo wink wink. wink wink. Those were good in several of his recent ZvTs.
I don't recall ever seeing lurkers used to good effect against lategame mech.

True, but I thought that killing all but 2 vessels and given that light had 1 port was a grand opportunity to muta switch

I voted JD, but I'd love to see Light take this. He really ought to have some medals or achievements by now, he's been solid for ages and seeing him step it up is awesome.

Light was constantly laying mines all over the map to thin JD's hydra numbers and picking off drones.
That was some of the best mech play decision making I've seen in a while. Props to light, not that many people will give him any.

okay light, win this game quickly. i'm sleepy.

But yeah, impressed by Light, not that much by Jaedong. But I still think he can do it.

they didn't start doing this recently. it's been around for a while and it only works on certain maps, on FS for example your tanks can get surrounded much more easily

Why is jaedong losing...? ._.
Rhetorical question btw *sigh*
|
I think jaedong forced too many attacks into tank lines to try and crack expos.. he got too cocky..
Jaedong should have gone muta when light began massing tanks but instead he just decided to force hydras to try and crack expos.. maybe he underestimated and thought 4 base hydra could just amove into 2 base mech
Really light gambled that jaedong wouldnt make a muta transition and went pure tanks and it payed off

This thread is becoming another Terran IMBA cause of mech thread...
