Hwaseung Oz is a very inconsistent team, they have their on days were the Jaedong Oz combo destroys everyone with players like Hiya and Killer playing very well, but then there are also those were the everyone besides Jaedong plays terrible and end up in the classic 1-3 Oz result. Going through their record their highest streak this Season has been 3 wins, which is relatively poor.
Since Oz is out of the playoffs I think the main concern they should have is getting their line up built for next season. At the moment their roster involves I would say 6 players. Jaedong, Hiya, Killer, Lomo, BackHo, Perfectman... And everyone but Jaedong and Hiya seem to be very inconsistent and these players need to step their game up if they wish to compete with other teams.
Ahh, Hite, there is alot going on in the Sparkyz house right now, after losing so many strong players in the match fixing scandal they aren't left with much left. Hite is too out of the playoffs and looking at the line up it doesn't look like they have much of a future. I suppose you can call Hite a bad version of Oz. Leta has had an injury and hasn't been playing to his potential and let me just explain how bad the rest of the team is. I will use the ELO rank and show their 5 highest ranked players. Leta 2189 (140-91) Horang2 2142 (37-31) Hogil 2037 (46-66) Puma 2006 (12-20) Britney 1991 (3-6)
The situation is really really bad for them and they will have to hope to make these guys A class material or trade some new guys for next season. As of the moment I do think they are the underdog against every team.
Set 1: I see Hiya coming out since Match Point favors the Terran and Hiya is pretty at playing his mirror match-up, and Hite will counter by sending a protoss. This map does favor PvT but I think Hiya should take this since Britney isn't very experienced . Set 2: We all know Fighting Spirit, it's possible the most balanced map out there, and BackHo is comfortable with 4 player maps and even though his record doesn't show it I feel he has good game sense in PvP and this should be a fun mirror to watch. I think Hite will see Killer coming here and therefore Horang.
Set 3: Grand Line and Fighting Spirit are the only maps that I think BackHo or Killer will be sent out at, and Leta should be sent out to guarantee a win here and spare someone else for Jaedong.
Set 4: The best chance for Hite to take out Jaedong is in a ZvZ on JDs favorite map, though he has lost 2 of his last 3 PL ZvZs I do think he still very much has it and Hogil should get rolled.
The loser was lacking macro, and therefore lost the deciding battle and after that the winner capitalized on his huge lead after winning the encounter.
I hope they let Jaedong and Hiya rest since they both have to practice for both the OSL and MSL. The lineup should be Killer, Lomo, Backho and Princess, with Killer for Ace.

Looking forward to see this happen. It will be especially cool thing if Leta tries his wraiths against Jaedong. I don't I remember the last time someone tried that kind of play against him.

2 years and one day ago. After than Oz has won 9 games in a row vs Hite, and Jaedong has won his last 18 games (and I think 21-2 in his career total against Hite, one loss to Yarnc and one to Casy).
They could pull out a win if they got the lineup right. Horang2 would have the best chance of beating BackHo but he might be able to take care of Killer or Lomo. Leta has very good TvT so if he was put up against Hiya and Jaedong had to face one of the newer players like SungEun then the set could conceivably end before the ace match without any controversy.

Agh, you're right, last 2 of 3. Thanks.
Nope. 10-07-06 vs. s2 — Loss 10-07-03 vs. great — Win 10-07-01 vs. RorO — Win
Only one of the two wins happened in Proleague, though.
Jaedongs lost his last one ZvZ
Proleague wasn’t specified before.
It was, I checked. It just wasn't specified in the subsequent replies.
It wasn’t. The OP was edited after.

thank you, I didn't edit since I was sleeping. Please don't make shit up just so people think you're right when you're clearly wrong. And I was referring that to nonduc.

I might just make if there isn't one 1 hour before match. And come on, we're talking about the possibility of Leta vs Jaedong.
I seriously doubt that would happen. theres no motivation for either team to send out their ace. They will more likely send out the rookies(Hite only has rookies now anyway). We are gonna get terribad matches like britney vs perfectman
Also, Sea.JustGod, BackHo is not gonna play and if he does get the chance he will lose. I also don't see HiyA losing to the gay cheese-fucker that is Horang2.
Jaedong moving three zerglings around Britney's main, and causing problems. Britney's done well to avoid probe losses however, even if he has been shuttling his probes back and forth across his minerals. Finally a zealot moves down to pressure the invaders somewhat.
Jaedong on three base, with a spire morphing. Britney's gas has been very delayed, and he has no pylons in the main. Mutas are going to kill him. Stargate just going up now, and Jaedong taking gratuitous hatcheries.
Britney finally killls all of his zergling tormentors and gets a cannon warping in his main. He optimistically sends a corsair out, along with a set of zealots, but Jaedong denies this push easily with zerglings and mutalisks,
Britney delay's Jaedong's mutalisk push until scourge, but only until then. Jaedong forces his way into Britney's main, and kills both cannons easily. Scourge keep Britney's corsairs running while mutalisks ravage the main, then sit ontop of the natural minerals with nothing attacking them.
GG. Britney looks crushed, because he was. But honestly he shouldn't beat himself up too much after losing to Jaedong. Also, JD can't get a seat on the Hwaseung bench for some reason.

Looked like some kind of 9 pool into standard 3 hat muta -> 5 hat hydra, except Jaedong skipped the Hydra part and just killed with Mutas. I'm almost positive I saw 5 hatcheries at one point.

That's exactly what it was. Nine pool into three hatch mutalisk. Whether or not there was a five hatch (I'll bet you he added a sixth) hydra transition isn't really important, there was nothing Britney could do to avoid dying to mutas after Jaedong was able to harass so effectively with his zerglings.
Also Horang2 v. BackHo. This should be entertaining. My money's on Horang.
Horang2 spawns at the top right, while BackHo spawns at the bottom right. This is on Fighting Spirit.
BackHo scouts correctly after his pylon, probably a wise move knowing Horang2's cheesy tenancies. He gets down a manner pylon that traps two probes and blocks off one mineral patch. Horang2 eventually gets a zealot to take it down. Meanwhile, a later manner pylon from Horang2 blocks off one probe and one patch.
BackHo sens a zealot out to harrass, and kills two probes before dying.
Both players getting a robotics as their first tech building, and scouting around with their free dragoons. BackHo will push out, with two dragoons and two zealots, but he'll just send Horang2 up to his ramp.
Observers, then reavers for both. Horang2 playing very defensively, with an observer and goons in his main. BackHo moving his observers out to scout. So far, nearly identical builds, but an earlier scouting probe has given BackHo the initiative.
BackHo takes an earlier expansion, Horang2 moving out to try to kill him. Many dragoons.
Horang2 setting up an attack on BackHo's natural. No hint of an expansion yet, so he's essentially going all in here. He'll attack against two reavers and a set of dragoons that looks nearly equal to his own. BackHo with the much better positioning by virtue of being on the defensive.
BackHo controls his reavers better, and wins the fight decisively. He tries to push across the map, and will occupy Horang2's natural, despite losing his reavers in the process. He wastes no time in forcing Horang2's main, and Horang2 is forced to pull probes to defend. BackHo backs off eventually, but with a commanding lead.
I love you BackHo. Please don't miss all of last season with injury again. Say what you want about him; he's entertaining and a hell of a alot better than Failtoss
Horang2 moves out with his shuttle to harass, as he has little other choice to try to come back. He very nearly runs into a group of dragoons though, but barely escapes. He finds a path into BackHo's natural, but can't kill any more than one probe.
Horang2 moves his shuttle back to his base to pick up another reaver, and then returns for another attack. He's outnumbered completely this time, and his slow-health shuttle is picked off after dropping only one reaver. BackHo has two reavers and crushes him easily. Backho pushes out again, and Horang2 gg's about three minutes too late.
Horang2 has as much success getting out of his booth as he did getting into BackHo's natural. He looks stuck... ... and he gets out eventually.
Both players going for a barrack-cc. Which always makes it funny, because both players then build completely unnecessary bunkers.
Did nobody else notice that they showed a poster talking about the foreign starcraft community, and giving personal shoutouts to people? I forget who they were, there were four or so? Nukethestars, Raelcun?
Leta going for a starport, but HiyA already has an armory and an academy, so he's set. Leta proceeding apace though, and getting another wraith while researching cloack. He moves out to the middle line high ground, but no farther.
Wraiths come in and kill a few scvs, but two golaiths and the threat of scans force Leta to pull back. Leta gets siege in time to establish a position mid-map. Most crucially, he's killed HiyA's barracks, so Leta should win any tank fight. HiyA looking to push out now and get around Leta's army.
hiya loses a bunch of vultures as they head forwards into leta's tank range - he came out behind on that exchange he's pulling his army back temporarily
HiyA pushes around Leta's main tank line, but Leta is prepared and deflects it fairly comfortably. HiyA takes 11 while Leta takes 6. HiyA with a strong army advantage, but Leta's positioning is solid, he should be able to defend himself adequately.
But HiyA can afford to maraud around, while Leta has to sit back here. HiyA taking 12 now. Leta dropping vultures behind HiyA's lines.
HiyA with a starport of his own, but Leta now has three dropships and is firmly in control of the air. He's giving HiyA's vultures something to do with harass at 12 and 11.
Leta gets in a tank and goliath drop behind all of HiyA's supply depots in his main!. HiyA has to make a bad trade to clear this. Meanwhile, Leta is now putting his mobility to use by expanding to the island at 3 and the natural in the bottom left. His moving up with a ton of dropships to shut down the top left main and natural.
hiya with a HUGE drop on leta's 8 - the cc floats but dies to goliaths there weren't many scvs there though but they're on their way - if leta doesn't stop the maynard!
HiyA responds by dropping at Leta's bottom left expansion and kills it, although it had hardly gotten up. HiyA gets up the island at 9, and is pressing his advantage at the bottom left. Leta still has the top right, albeit not with very much.
Leta makes a big push to retake the bottom left but he miscalculates terribly, and tanks dropped on the main inflict heavy losses on his forces. HiyA now in control, he can attack now and Leta will have difficulty responding.
HiyA find an opening however, so he opts to drop at the top right, and kill nothing besides a building cc. Leta still has a firm grip on the top right main, and by extension much of the the natural.
HiyA chooses instead to push the center, and wins decisively! Leta in huge trouble now, he can't stop HiyA from killing 6! And maybe more!
Leta now with tanks sieged up on his natural. He can't last, he has no map control and only the top right and the island at 3. And he barely has both. His main is going to die.
Brilliant push from HiyA down the center. He can do whatever the hell he wants now.
leta moving scvs by dropship towards 3, adding a TON of turrets there leta's 1.5 base idle, with very little defense - is hiya moving there? the dropships curve away at the last moment
HiyA not dropping Leta's main for some obscure reason. Actually he's not dropping anything, whic makes no sense seeing how he has at least ten dropships, and a huge army. He's not even moved to take out 5, which is baffling, considering the fact that it's completely undefended.
Finally HiyA drops Leta's main, but does it in a clumsy way, and loses much more than he should've. If he had done the exact same thing a minute earlier, he would've won. I don't understand.
Leta actually has three of the four mains on this map. He's got the top right main, and the bottom left main, and his starting location at the bottom right. His island is forested in turrets. He's dropping the top right now, as he should, but he's losing more stuff that he should've.
HiyA isn't being paid to lose here, is he? I'm going to bed.
Just watched Jaedong vs Britney, this kind of domination is not even fun to watch as a JD fan. That poor poor guy. He had no idea what to do.
It gets worse when you read his winner interviews afterwards. It's like: Yeah, I played against protoss so I knew I would win beforehand. Then I slipped three lings in there, so that was that. After that I just thought about which out of seventeen different ways to win would be the most fun. Today I decided for Muta/Scourge because I think dying corsairs look funny.
Describes most of his recent victories because he does so many ling runbys nowadays.
