I feel like it's more about what Kal didn't, not what Effort did.

Look, I actually like effort (I just happen to like Kal more), and a year ago he was a zvt monster. However, its been a year, and effort's vT is terrible now. All I'm saying is that expecting him to play as he did a year ago (and flash to regress to his state from a year ago) is pretty unlikely. The way things are atm, I'm not expecting much from these finals, and I do think that Kal would have put up a much better challenge, and his games against Flash are usually very entertaining. Gotta play the hand you're dealt with I guess.

Worst roflstomp ever? Have you seen Flash's latest Bo5's? ![]() Yeah, EffOrt fan that I am, I'd have to admit that this wasn't even the worst beatdown of the last week. Why the fuck is Match Point always the map played twice for Flash? Get that shit out of the map pool already. Yikes, Flash is 3-4 versus Zerg on this map. At least he has time to prepare. Well, lets look at how he lost those 4 games: v JD: No turrets in main, gets owned by 12p lair v Zero: Turret it main this time but still skimps turrets and gets owned by 12p lair v Hyun: Skimps turrets gets owned once again by early mutas (forget the exact build) vs Hyvaa is the only 1 he lost that wasn't in the early game (Fine, v Hyun lasted like 30 minutes but it was well over after the muta harass in the beginning). I'm sure if flash decides to even cut scvs for 5 seconds to get like 2 extra turrets up its no prob. The natural mineral line is a nightmare to defend from uta harass If ForGG knows how to defend against early muta harass on match point, then so can Flash. At the end of the OSL finals, match point will no longer be a weakness to Flash.

Or maybe the coachs will not (coincidentally) send Effort against Flash, which will not ruin the fun.

The point was (besides that its a hilarious thought) that effort, no matter what happened in the group stages, is a much more deserving finalist than him. And since he just roflstomped Kal, he's also a more deserving finalist than Kal.

Someone has forgotten how much of a ZvP beast Shine is when he brings his A game to it... Knocked out Stork and Bisu ( 3-1 and 2-1 if I get it right...) after losing to move 3-1 (who had beat Zero as well...).

What do you do against players like EffOrt, Jaedong and Zero who all has great anti-harass skills in ZvP. You starve them to death when playing passive like Stork does vs Jaedong here.
