Fact is, we dont know exactly what happened there, maybe it was a fucked up driver then it wasnt efforts fault. It was an unexpected decision, but to say you dont deserve to be there just because of the referees decision...the game wasn't even over yet, though certainly in shine's favour.

No not in ZvP, you are wrong here. Jaedong and EffOrt are very similar in the way that they like to set up management games, amazing anti-harass skills, are comfortable with lurker-openings in (contradict with Z:s like Shine and RorO who always goes mass-hydras or all-ins).
EffOrt and Jaedong and maybe Zero are unique in the way that they can play the "old" ZvP style too with a modern touch.
This BO5 against Kal, EffOrt probably decided to go the mass-hydras strat and take mapcontrol and Kal just swallowed it with his big mouth.

You caught something important there. I was hoping that we'd see some of EffOrt's trademark management defense until ultra/ling play, but his entire game plan was to switch that up, and play with hydra/muta instead. I think that definitely caught Kal off-guard a bit.

My main point in these arguments was that he deserves to be in the finals. You really call that arrogant?? Second point was that he has the talent to play great ZvT, he just hasnt shown it recently cause he was in a slump and was playing terrible. Sorry but I dont see how thats arrogant.
Is he a huge underdog against flash? Hell yeah he is. If effort somehow manages to win 2 games I'll be very happy, if he at least wins one I'll be somehwat content as well. So yeah I dont know wtf youre talking about

Well, I was trying to relate to your point about being smug about CJ players. I've always felt there's a difference between being positive about your team, and being annoying about it. That's the reason I became a fan of CJ in the first place, I watched their games, loved their depth, and loved the positive team attitude they and their English-speaking fans had.
I mean, you read what Hot Bid has written in the past, and it goes straight to that ethos, loyalty and positivity about the team and what it does and does not accomplish. I like that fact that despite EffOrt being their standout, their bread and butter is still their phenomenal depth.

thats the thing I think people should take a look at who is posting what, if it's just one guy doing all the posts it's dumb to say "omg allll cj fans are sooo annoying"
Hoping this will lead to a great finals! Effort has been playing better and better lately but we haven't seen his ZvT in shape lately. I don't know where he suddenly got his skill back from but I hope his ZvT is back aswell!
