His demolishing of Kal in a bo5 was not in the least surprising to anyone not blinded by sheer hate and wishful thinking. It's as if his play through most of 2009, which shows that he has been slumping badly in the past few months but is now apparently recovering, has been forgotten. He certainly deserves to be here, and Kespa wouldn't give him a regame against Shine unless there was a legitimate hardware issue.
I'm an Effort hater, hands down he is good. But no doubt he will be raped in the next few weeks. goodluck Alien!

Kal's counter attack almost won him a game he was going to have difficulty winning, it was hardly an objectively bad move. And EffOrt grabbed a BO win in Game 1. Kal played well, I think in the semi-finals of a starleague, people usually do, but EffOrt was better.
Kal played about as well as every other protoss in the current era of Starcraft.
PvZ is such a volatile matchup that you absolutely have to get everything right against any zerg that is fairly good. The minute you stuff up and lose stuff like reavers, shuttles, and high templars, and you're just going to get rolled by 1a2a3a hydralisks.
Effort played the standard game as well as anyone that could be considered great at the matchup can but you're kidding yourself that Kal played well.

He was so good a that point that some people were talking that he might be the best zerg.
well not the biggest names he beat there but yeah, efforts zvt was really really good at one point. i remember day[9] commentated one of his games on neo medusa or so. I think he will make Flash fight hard for the title, all this "3-0 boring effOrt sucks he has no chance kal just choked usually he is way better" is just funny xD

Bisu has nothing to be embarassed of, he's given us years of dominance and great play. Effort disappointed us all by starting to slump in the middle of his rise to fame. But I'm delighted that he's started showing his true self again, though this series was hardly the most convincing 3-0 rape.

I predict a 3-0 OSL final in favor of Flash.

Yeah, you are right. I was afraid of this, since the winners interview of Kal after the RO8... He seemed so overconfident, and today it looked like he wasnt too prepared... But also, i guess the first set was a bit demoralizing...

One question:
Would anyone rather have a shine vs flash finals?
If the answer is yes you must be insane

no P is playing really good this days and flash's TvP has been absolute rape, he even passed JD in his vP elo peak Well dunno, JD hasn't played a P in like half a year.
not Flash's fault Jaedong gets knocked out of OSL before Ro16.
also also, not Flash's fault that Jaedong didn't put any protoss in his MSL Ro32 group.
also also also, not Flash's fault no one tries to snipe Jaedong with protosses in PL (though it would be pretty funny).

Did Bisu reach the OSL final 10 minutes ago? He was lucky in the group stages, so what, he is 2-0/3-0 afterwards. And my point is he has shown S-Class play before, he was slumping, but now he obviously isn't.
Should not be to hard to understand.

thats not a prediction, thats merely more of a fact bound to happen

The finals will definitely not be 3-0. Even with Movie, who sucks at PvT, it was 3-1, where Flash lost in the late game.

Well, lets look at how he lost those 4 games:
v JD: No turrets in main, gets owned by 12p lair v Zero: Turret it main this time but still skimps turrets and gets owned by 12p lair v Hyun: Skimps turrets gets owned once again by early mutas (forget the exact build)
vs Hyvaa is the only 1 he lost that wasn't in the early game (Fine, v Hyun lasted like 30 minutes but it was well over after the muta harass in the beginning).
I'm sure if flash decides to even cut scvs for 5 seconds to get like 2 extra turrets up its no prob. The natural mineral line is a nightmare to defend from uta harass
