That game was a good example of why there was that huge thread about zvp being imbalanced, it seems like there was nothing Kal could do to overcome the huge hydra push that basically never ends. Kal did make a mistake by losing the sairs and some probes early game. Then again, Effort did nothing special, except execute the standard build very well with his insane APM-macro. But in terms of strategy, ZvP doesn't require much thinking anymore. There are some standard builds that have no real counter and always put Protoss in trouble no matter what they do

First map was triathlon! Anybody who thinks like me and think that sair/reaver would have worked out well on that map? Easy third base and gas. And sair dominates air so drop at the easy third can easily be defended. I see a major flaw in your plan.

Of course his ground army would be super weak as a result - that's 5 templar and 5 zlots right there. Kal also lost about 4-5 probes to lings early

This is actually a really good point, although he needed something to defend his HTs from snipes(still didn't work). Maybe he needed some more Archons, more aggressive harrassment, and eehh Reavers? I feel like P always wins if they go Reavers and always loses if they don't
