Yes he did. His opening was 2 hatch lair. He just went and built another 6 hatcheries after that. | ||

Yes he did. While he did end up building over 9000 hatcheries, he got his gas after his spawning pool which defines it as a 2 hatch build. | ||

What's the problem? Ultras cost 200/200. They are fast and durable, and their damage is solid. Hydras are more cost-efficient when gas is relatively scarce, especially in the midgame when the Zerg doesn't want to pony up the resources to tech hive. But ultras are perfectly reasonable. Of course, you can't use a small amount of ultra/ling/defiler/lurker to beat a big ol' mech army the same way you can against bio. Regardless of what units you buy to beat mech, you will need a lot of them. | ||
