Jaedong learning SC as it was written on noob threads : Don't micro battles, but macro up and send army after army :p

6 bases/hatch mutas, 9 base Ultra/ling/defiler into GG.

???
Even if JD showed him the bases it wont matter, Midas had no way to attack them with his 1port valk 1 fac goli army while massing up turrets to live vs 2hat muta.

Seriously, what godlike management from JD in the midgame, no other zerg can do that.

it was more like awesome smart decision to mass expand and outnumber mech + making smart use of the map's characteristics

gg, I remember some people saying Midas was the favorite in this? LOL what happened? Not that I don't like Midas but don't insult the tyrant by calling him the underdog.

Yeah, I think he had a window when JD took hidden 10 and didn't have mass muta yet.

Pretty much. There is literally no way for mech to stop any of the expansions since its so slow.

It also helps when you're Jaedong and your mutalisks spawn with ultralisk carapace.

Although Midas was dominated really hard, at least he was showing signs of hope along the way imho. I really hope he can take a game or two.

Midas never had a timing this game. He always threatened to backstab with mutas.

Perfect aggressiveness combined with godly macro.

Yup, although its subtle, it was a brilliant strategy for JD to go 2hat muta on this map and force midas to play defensively with mass turrets/goliaths allowing him to expo everywhere.

+ that fucking attack in the midgame vs the valk/turret gave me the shivers, it was like Stork vs JD on katrina all over again, it seemed unbustable.

Jaedong didn't need to even tech switch to ling/ultralisks, he could of simply just overpowered Midas with mutas.

Unupgraded goliaths really don't do much damage to mutalisks.

Yeah, Jaedong's 2hatch opening gave him early map control and confined Midas in his base.

I guess really fast multi-expand is the new thing these days. I guess that is where the meta game is taking us.
