I honestly think it's mental. FBH freaks out and gets so excited that he's going to beat someone like Flash that he tries to do everything possible to ensure a safe victory. Mental superiority. Flash looks for how to win. FBH looks for how NOT to lose.

No kidding, that must have been FBH's game plan, at least his decision making resulted to that.

No he won the game I was thinking of. He spent all the money building like 10 factories at once with machine shops pumping pure tanks and just a moving them.

My favorite part about that FBH v Flash match was Flash's decision to abandon his Nat. Flash has always had an incredible ability to very quickly assess a situation and make a quick response be it right or wrong (generally right). OSL finals v Movie game 4 is a good example, he gets a late glimpse at movie's 12 nex and within a second his response is on the way. I remember when watching the Flash v FBH game I thought it inconceivable that a player would abandon his natural. I mean it's called a NATURAL expansion, it's the natural place to first expand, it naturally belongs to you. In his position with his skill I would have mounted a defense of the natural and probably have lost the game because of it. Instead without missing a beat he abandons it and reuses the CC elsewhere. This reduces FBH's advantage gain from this exchange. Flash loses some mining time but FBH's units are stranded in a useless position.

FBH definitely screwed up that game, I'm not trying to argue that. Just stating my favorite part.

The position was worthwhile. FBH stopped an expansion in exchange for those mins. It was a good trade.

Oh absolutely, I wasn't trying to argue that. But it would have been a much better trade for FBH if he stopped the expo AND killed Flash's units that attempted to retake it.

Flash just became sleepy after demolishing the rest of KHAN (3 games in a row is pretty damn long) and thought that he could beat M18M while taking a nap.
