Poor games so far truth be told.
when you put aside all the fanboyism about who 'raped' who this is actually a good summary. Both games were effectively the loser blowing it rather than the winner earning it, no matter how much you adore the winner and think 'he's so epic 1337 pure awesomeness ftw!!!'
I disagree.
I think that JD would have been in a fine spot had Flash not seen the perfect opportunity to bring drops into the main. He even dmatrix'd which was essential. If he hadn't done the dmatrix dropship attack he wouldn't have won.
I wrote more about game 1, but I think that the map and JD's build played a big role in the win there. I have seen both of these games as extremely high level. JD has played a little unconventionally in both, which I expected, and it has worked for him.
It's been a great series so far. You do it nowhere near enough credit.

I wouldn't call them poor games, I mean the rate that they escalate makes them so exciting, small windows of time can shake the whole thing and they have. It's easy to make mistakes at such speed and complexity that they play in.
the "in" thing to do is call games out for being poorly played because it distinguishes your superiority as a starcraft fan. u should try it too next time

How JD doesn't know this is a complete mystery and it might end up costing him the MSL if he doesn't get his shit back together.
look it's not that jaedong doesnt know his gaurdians are going to get countered. the gaurdians were only there to delay for ultras. it wasnt a matter of if they would but when... he got the gaurds out by the time there were only two wraiths, so they didnt die that slow and were semi successful.
u can say that flash wasted x resources in having his gaurdains die... but jd never made more than his first batch of mutas. the money he saved from making replacement mutas was spent on the gaurds, so it wasnt too much of a waste in terms of resources.
the problem was not stopping the drop. maybe jd expected flash to make more wraiths, whereas flash went dropshops right after his first two wraiths
jd could have done a ton more damage with those mutas against an empty main

Here is what Jaedong should have done... he had 4 base running... so he can proxy hatchery near flash's natural in a place flash would never expect or scan cause its not near any minerals and then use this for scourge making... BOOM! scourge is instantly deployed to the frontline with no on route sniping! anyone comment?? i think this is gosu strat that can be used effectively by S-class player!

there was no need to delay at all. if he had morphed the guards in his main there would have been no fear from flash's army, wherever it was
jaedong saw 2 ports with ADD-ONS so I think he assumed flash was going sv. Losing those guards like that was awful.. leaving 2 mutas unmorphed and he woulda had that natural
