Didn't play like himself o_O Hardly any expansions.
Flash did a great job controlling the middle the whole game. He was content to let Effort take the 4 free gas Outsider gives Zerg, but made sure not to let him take any more. He also was extra careful to ensure that Effort not get the minerals from the min-only above the 9 o'clock base which can make a huge difference (as we saw in the July game) when the gas flows that easily.
Once Flash secured his 4 gas it was just a matter of trading Vessels for Defilers, and he actually did a better than usual job of keeping his Vessels alive too.
Effort played really well - Flash was one step ahead in a lot of places, such as when he killed lings trying to go around for flanks a few times, making a huge difference. Effort would have won against almost every other Terran.

Flash's strategy was dead on though. He managed to lose a billion marines and his first push because he can't multitask but his constant pressure gave him the ability to expand safely, stall ultras, and wear Effort down at low risk.
Haha... were you watching supply counts? It was pretty clear Flash would take it after the results of the first push. Effort lost almost a dozen lurkers vs a dirt cheap M&M army. Flash came out of that with a supply advantage he never let go of.
