Yarnc vs Jangbi Yarnc is Jangbi's bitch. A quick look at TLPD shows that Jangbi is officially 8-3 vs Yarnc, but has two extra wins elsewhere. Samsung Protosses have done a good job of inflating their PvZ records by destroying our good old PvZ punching bag Yarnc. While Jangbi has been struggling of late, Yarnc has yet to play a ZvP in about a couple months, so we really don't know how good his ZvP is lately. However, if I were to make my predictions based off history, Yarnc is in for another ass whupping. Jangbi should take this 2-1, dropping a set somewhere along the way.
Fantasy vs Kal Fantasy boasts a tremendous 64% win rate vs Protoss and has established himself as arguably the best TvPer on the scene today. The damn terrorist is well known for depriving us of a Bisu/Jaedong OSL Finals by obliterating Bisu 3-0 in the semis. Fuck you Fantasy. In the other corner, his opponent Kal is no slouch when it comes to PvT. While many would like to count out Kal, his play has been very solid as of late and has been delivering great results albeit rather quietly. Fantasy still might be feeling the side effects of Jaedong raping him in the OSL semis, and with some good PvT maps for Kal, I like Kal's chances. I look forward to some good games, with Kal coming on top 2-1.
Lol Yarnc. Dunno how much practice he put in considering the OSL, so I'm thinking Jangbi takes it without too much trouble. Same for Fantasy. And then there were 3...
JangBi/Yarnc: Winner goes on to face Luxury. Either way it would be a cool grudge match to see in the Ro8. Yarnc is the underdog here, so I might as well root for him.

B/c a lot of his wins are against bad PvZ protosses? Just look at his games list. Stats inflation goes both ways. Most of his wins come from ACE protoss.

Jangbi has beat nobody zergs, mostly just yarnc, the only other notable zerg jangbi beat to my knowledge was effort when he wasnt all that great. Mechanically jangbis harrass is so good, but his pvz just isnt that great, Stork on the other hand has atleast beaten good players. Free's PvZ is still fine, Kals has been up and down, but he was strong earlier in the year.
I dunno yarnc zvp seems so unrefined, hes good at making alot of units though, nevertheless he has beaten jangbi the last couple of times they played.
I think if Yarnc can step up his zvp a notch, Jangbi will be in trouble. There life time stats harsh (10-3 in favor of Jangbi) but I still think he has a chance

ZvP is Yarncs weakest matchup, he lost to freaking BackHo. Jangbi and Stork have decent PvZ, which is good enough to beat Yarncs ZvP.

The build is so bad... Even if you are ahead in economy in the beginning the fact that you can't move out of your natural until like 10 minutes into the game gives the Z so much map control =S

Neutralizing kals min pathches while his were neutralized. Delaying the p 3rd til he got his almost. Owning those probes at his third. Keeping kal constantly busy with harass and still keeping up with macro is really impressive. Living up to his nick name once again.

He was above 1k for most of the time during the game. Gas count doesnt matter much considering he was on 2 shop 8 no shop. His gas was low though, around 300-500.
Anyway anyway, having to get ~ 10 facs when you can't really support even 8 doesn't really say "good macro" to me. Rather, it is a sign of bad macro. :/ The more production facilities before maxed, the worse macro.

All right guys, I'll throw in a prediction: Fantasy goes for fast upgrades and a fast third base with drop ship harrass while maxing in 13 mins and his +2/+1 will finish at the same time and he'll roll over Kal. Kal will go fast arbs off 2-3 bases.

The only person in progaming who can contest Fantasy's economic understanding (besides oov obviously) is Flash. The strategies that he uses are all based around a total economical understanding (particularly his TvP).
Fantasy's problem, as shown by this game, is that while his economical/strategical understanding is amazing, he does mess up with critical decisions in key moments. He's had Kal owned so badly yet he screwed up several times horribly on small matters that really cost him so the game actually is a bit close when it should've been a complete stomp.
The commentators point out that fantasy has +1 attack and kal hasn't even started his first upgrade, even though he has a forge. Kal takes his third gas and fourth base, but the unit balance has swung heavily in fantasy's favor and he's about to take it right back offline.

Epic stasis lets kal briefly overpower fantasy, and he does a SEXY reaver drop during the distraction and chases fantasy out of his briefly-claimed fourth. In exchange, fantasy looks to be getting ready to try to run him over again.

Archons dotn require any additional funding, so you wouldnt have mroe or less temps//arbs for making an archon...
Man Kal, played so well, but lost to scouting in the end. Almost certain he coulda won that game handily had he shut down 7. Played so well in the series after game 1.

He was actually on his way to scout that area, but his zealot stopped half way, and later on he pulled it back to add to his army.

Archons dotn require any additional funding, so you wouldnt have mroe or less temps//arbs for making an archon...
Since you lose 2 templars then archon costs 100/300... Isn't it better to leave those templars as templars?

Anyways, Fantasy's grand strategical plays are so amazing. 3 base timing attack with an adjusted vessel for arbiter timing was really really nice and the hidden expansion was as usual at perfect timing.
In my humble opinion... A top protoss playing against a T who's known to have taken hidden expansions before should scout enough to even clear the shrowd at 1/4 of the map.
He was actually on his way to scout that area, but his zealot stopped half way, and later on he pulled it back to add to his army.

Please do. Especially game 1. Game 1 was bad beyond words. Game 2 was pretty awful too. I feel as if Best played better PvZ vs Calm than Jangbi did today vs Yarnc. Jangbi just played like absolute shit. Save yourself the time.
