Sea.Leta < Neo Harmony > fOrGG_V_ A fairly standard TvT that goes back-and-forth throughout the game. Worth watching if you like TvT.
Horang2 < Colosseum II > Violet[Name] HOLY COW THIS PvP WAS NUTS. These guys are relatively new Protosses and they bring out some... "different" strategies. If you're gonna watch one set from this series, make it this one.
Finally, we're getting some more close games from this tournament. By the way, go watch the first set if you want a few laughs.

Sure, Hite beat KT a lot in PL. But all that matters here is Flash.
HITE GONNA GET FIREFISTED And no kt beat hite alot of times in proleauge, the majority did go down to ace and either flash or lux won, this'll be no different, flash and kt to rape

No I think Sparkyz has won the majority of their matches vs KT and I even think there was a winning interview where a Sparkyz player said they tend to do well vs KT. I don't know for certain though, somebody will need to check.
Seems like they're going to try to snipe eachothers aces and it's gonna come down to which team sends out their players in a smarter/more lucky way.
KT wants to avoid having Flash fight Yarnc, while hite wants to avoid having Leta fight Flash
My guess is that hite will send out Yarnc 3rd, or 2nd if KT starts with Flash. Leta will be saved for last in hopes that Yarnc will take Flash out before that.

The only time KT beat Hite this season was during WL when Flash beat Leta and Yarnc in set 6 and 7. The other 4 times involved a 3-0 where Flash was playing in the 4th set and 3 instances of Leta beating Lux/ForGG in an ace match.
And I seriously doubt they're going to use Yarnc for a meaningless event like this when he has OSL finals to prepare for.
Now that Flash is done in leagues, i expect him to all kill 4-0.
Yarnc prolly wont show up due to OSL coming up, so Flash vs Leta may be the best match we'll get, if Leta ever gets over his TvT humiliation from Skyhigh...
hehe Oz has a 5-0 record vs Hite and a 4-1 vs KTF. But KTF is definitely the bigger threat. But it will be hard for Hite to go against a prepared Flash. =[
As everyone here knows, I am completely impartial and never let my KT-fandom affect my predictions. That being said: Flash will beat Yarnac so hard that his monitor will explode and his battle booth will tip over into the audience.
I dunno Flash is a player famous for his grudge against Zerg players then failing horribly. Not to mention, Flash has admitted in public Yarnc's ZvT is much much much much better than Luxury's ZvT
Hopefully Luxury/Firefist/Hoejja/ForGG gave enough TvZ tips to Flash
KT all the way. Gotten past Khan CJ and a hot eSTRO with only one of their big guns(ForGG) playing a game. Not to mention that Hites best player at the moment in Yarnc is most likely to sit out in preparation for his OSL finals vs Jaedong coming up and he is the only player on Hite who would be favored against Flash. Not to say Leta is bad but Flash has won 13 of his last 14 TvT's for a reason and Flash beat Leta resoundingly last time these two played.
the point of all these olleh commercials is that first something good happen and they're like wow, and then something better and they go "olleh"? what gives?

it's gonna be Oz without Jaedong, he's probably prioritizing the OSL finals

Ummm no. Maybe if Jaedong was on a normal team, but on OZ Jaedong has to or wants to do both team and individual leagues. It doesn't matter how busy Jaedong is OZ will use Jaedong. At the very least he will be sent even if he didn't practice much.

Ya jaedong with zero practice is still much better than any other player on his team
Flash killed some SCVs of Leta making the number of SCVs Leta needed to kill much higher. Now that Flash has stabilized with 2 base and Leta hasn't even finished a cc, let alone landed it, Leta is in deep trouble.
is flash trying to be like fantasy in fantasy vs jaedong on outsider? Won't work as well because that was really end game with scarce minerals and like 10 tanks... vs this game with 6 tanks and leta with over twice the bases.

I feel ripped off. Glad that Leta won, but it shouldn't be when Flash makes such a big mistake. He must have missed a hotkey for setting a rally, and only did it later on when 6 tanks were already made without a rallly point.

Wrong.
The first tank was made without a rally point and he didnt notice. That tank blocked the exit for the other 5 that were rallied.
Wouldn't the tanks try to go around if the factory's rally was really at the nat? All the tanks just turned towards the blocking tank - as if the rally was there?
Macro monkey #2 incoming, lets hope he atleast doesnt blunder that huge, even if he loses that game was just behind awful, seriously the only thing worse than that was kindoms proxy failure.

If the exit is blocked tanks will just move into direction and then they will stop. Its not the same as move. ;O

Yep I would cry if it happened during his series vs Iris.
That was soooo bad. I've never seen even ~C players make a mistake like that. Let alone progamers. How can you not ever look at your main for like over 10 minutes? Flash must be happy he's not a Zerg player, he might have problems with DTs.

if flash opted to build another fac, he would've seen it. but he didn't........
One interesting thing about that game is it demonstrated a lot about the difference between foreign and korean players. A foreign play would never make that mistake because their mechanics arent that streamlined. We actually LOOK at our factories sometimes when we macro. Korean pros apparently do it with hotkeys only never "wasting(normally...)" time to look at the facts.

Isn't it way more efficient if you can macro without looking back at your production buildings? Andromeda's base layout just happened to put the facts out of vision from where Flash would be going back to build other buildings/upgrade.

He did that BECAUSE he's a progammer. He never looks at his factories and produces with hot keys only, something that C players would never do.

At one point in the game they showed Flash's FP view and the stuck Tanks actually were visible (admittedly at the very TOP of the screen) while he was macroing but apparently his macro is so streamlined that he didn't notice.
Guess when you're used to having Tanks stream out of your base like Flash, seeing Tanks on your screen while macroing doesn't quite register....

Yep flash's macro style is much more effecient than using the mouse and moving the screen over the facts , but it sure bit him in the ass this game.

Yeah the streamlined mechanics of progamers allow for interesting cheese or mistakes like what Flash made. I remember a game where a progamer tried to cut down on scouting time by checking for geysers so when he scouted a base without a geyser he moved on not realizing that was where his opponent was. The geyser was built on because the other player was cheesing...
ForGG had the better early (I suppose) due to earlier mines and also got an earlier third. At the time being, both sit on 3 base with 3 gas, trying to secure locations around the map. ForGG wraith / tank at the moment, Leta gol / wraith. Currently the battle goes for bottom left (Leta top left, forgg bottom right)
Mass of tanks by forgg pushes through the middle to interrupt reinforcements for bottom left. Establishes position, kills rax. 4th also coming online for forgg. Leta reinforcing with 3 dropships.
ForGG killed some stuff, but Leta secured bottom left for now, so he is ahead by bases. GG has the min only next to his base running. Setting up tanks at the bottom right low ground now. Wraiths heading there too, he has about 10.
I dont know what you guys talking about that ForGG lost. He's in the lead with even base (both have 3 running expos) but forGG can take the other main + natural while Leta cannot since there'S a line of tanks.
GG intercepts some dropships at the min only near Leta's base, loses wraiths, but Leta's units are stranded for the most part! Low ground siege is set up and Leta getting boxed in there. Moves his tanks forward!

Leta's expo under fire, gets dropship to help, but wraiths snipe ALL BUT ONE. Now tanks are pushing in and Leta will be forced to lift off this expansion (at 12)
Top right main base CC is done for ForGG. One vulture spots it, but no SCvs there to kill for the vult. ForGG looks like even taking the now vacant base at 12. Leta clearing out tanks at the bottom left natural, to be able to take it. Loses all his dropships in process, ForGG reinforces and holds the natural!
Yes, ForGG clearly lost. Wow. Sorry for the sarcasm but lots of guys really judge to early and have not enough knowledge of the game or just don't play attention. I don't know. Really good game by ForGG. He's still lacking unit control, but his dropship snipes and decision making (not the execution) are really good.

I like tvt more and more, I think it has overtaken pvp as my favorite mirror. Nice to see that with 2 solid tvt wins ForGG seems to snap back out of the slump, would be good for kt and Flash.

gee what will it be proxy dt gate behind in forggs mineral line with probe to push dt in? Or maybe a shuttle loaded with dts and reavers into goon elevator. If this goes standard expect forgg trash mode or not to roll this clown.

Why does forGG scout the bottom right of his base. Its not possible to build a gateway there (well it is, but you'll see it with your mining scvs) Its only possible to hide it in that location if the terran starts at the top o.,o

Is there a 3rd Bisu vs Hwasin on Outsider that I am unaware of? The video you linked is the one I was referring to as the fast push to Bisu's fast expansion yet you say it isn't the game.
Forgg found the one timing window Horang2 left open but he barely held on with arb + dts against the limited scan of Forgg (no vessel because of how behind he was early game). Surprisingly close game considering how much damage the early goons did.

Completely agreed. ForGG did a good job given the situation he was in. But not enough.
He couldve played better early game though. Simply having mines on both sides of the bridges wouldve been enough.
ugh, forgg... and why waste violet so early better to send out a zerg, and save violet for the zvp impaired yarnc and typeb. I mean violet can win but its 50/50 at best.

Next map is Colosseum, which is P favored. Probably will send out a zerg on Medusa if Violet fails.

Yeah, what he did was pretty much the opposite of all-in. He gained a large advantage with some really nice goon micro, but instead of following that up with loads more goons and trying to win straight off (which probably would've worked); he teched up and took another expansion. Although ForGG looked to be doing well, the tech and macro advantage Horang had was larger than it looked.

ogn blows vs toss as they always have historically, gogo or type b, they better hope the sc pro formely knows as hoggy wins, cause typeb or gogo are underdogs vs violet, but I dont know the 6th set map, so whichever race is better will prolly go.

hoggy? wtf with sparkyz hate?
He used to be pretty fat, and has lost some weight, but I called him hoggy when he was fat or july-esque if you prefer.
I dont understand why HoGiL did wait for additional 4 hydras. He could have won against 3 zealot / 3 cannon with 8 hydra / 8 ling instead of facing 7 cannons with 12 hydras and 8 lings... o.,o I know speed was not done, but I think you should upgrade speed and then range because more hydras and faster reinforcements > range at that moment. Id say he was pretty fucked either way.
His way of being fucked: 90% chance to lose My way of being fucked: 65% chance to lose
lets hope violet gets this, i think he really can. otherwise theres only firefist left to save the day, and type-b has been training vz hard lately... so think if violet loses here, kt loses...

Hello!!!
Edit: lol, Kentor is even in bold in the OP. Big mystery solved...
Sometimes its so strange to me the things the commentators DON'T react to.
Like they get all excited when the pylon goes down but then violet catches like 8 overlords with his sairs and they hardly react at all...makes no sense
Is it just me or did violet react horrible to the pressure at his front? Either give up and go up the ramp or DO something to actually hold the front. Losing those 3 temps was inexcuseable.

Ya this isn't like proleague you don't get to send out whoever you want in the final game. It's all kill team format.

God's Garden is an extremely hard map for P but Violet couldve played that so much better. He saves up storms and then loses the temps without storming...choke.

Lol ya really. They are probably paying lux pretty well and he is definitely not preforming at an starleague winner level. Specially not in the team leagues. Coaches and management frown on that.

Sounds like a choke to me.
i feel that choke has to be connected with some psychological faktor, like pressure from oponent or mind games, this looked more like to simple mistake to me, but anyone can call it whatever he choses

That might be the reason he's never won an OSL!
Overgas at ~200min -> 11pool for Firefish, 12poolgas for Type-B
why is it that the twins are never good at the same time? when one does well, the other does terribly. like now, yarnc is in the osl finals while lux doesnt even get to play in stx masters

Maybe only one is actually good but they switch places and the good one plays as the other one from time to time to maximize the profits !

yarnc was the one who played at the msl final, but nobody knows...
Firefist taking gases out, all he has to do is defend from allin ling and expand himself. Or just kill spores like this. Lol firefist you weren't expecting the allin ling? -_-;;;;;;;;; Why are they so bad.
Basically type-B played terribly after a huge BO advantage but Firefist didn't realize that type-B needed to allin ling so he didn't defend it although it was the only thing type-B could possibly do and hence Firefist lost. A badly played game by both pretty much.

No. I won't back my comment with any reason. It's just Violet's fault. jk. Yeah. Overall KT just isn't that strong and it pisses me off. All their players minus Flash are so on and off.. and mostly off..

There wasnt reallya timing in that, it was more type-b going "oshit i cant make mutas, uhhhh 1a2a lings gogogogogo"

Yeah it wasn't a timing at all, he was forced to that because he wasn't mining gas in his main for a long time and his nat gas way way too late. All Firefist had to do was to defend against a ling allin that he should've seen coming. How he couldn't is beyond me, type-B didn't even have a spire afaik.

Yeah that was pretty awful...FireFists's lings were sitting in a blob in some useless place in the middle of the map

It was not ling allin...Firefist allined when stayed in type-b's base and started to lose mutas to spores. Type-b just sent a counterattack and if he would have lost his main he had still his nat while Firefist would have lost his main and the game aswell. It was not 'omg mutas in my base 1a2a the lings fast lol.

It was a total allin; Had Firefist not been an idiot and had he sent his mutas to defend or sniped lings on the way or made lings of his own, Type-B would have been dead. like 12 mutas can > like 3-4 spores if you have no other antiair.

And gas, he would have had to make like 2 more spores around each gas to defend them and get mutas of his own, and the further the game went on and the more mutas firefail got the more pressure that type-b would have been in

even if he's slumping now, we have to acknowledge the fact that before his MSL win, he was a consistent Ro16 player or maybe even Ro8. lol

yeah lol. and i would take luxury anyday over thezerg, but not Hyuk. lol just imagine if luxury becomes a beast again.
Words cannot describe how much fail there was in this match. From Flash losing his first game, a TvT no less. To Horang2 losing to army carried by dropships, to Violet throwing away templars in bulk, and ending with the epic fail that is Firefist.
This series should really be recommended if only for how many facepalm moments there were.

Effort is in the same boat for WCG. He went to blizzcon ;_;
Unless Flash really wants to school him badly on the 25th. If Effort(or Flash) leaves at the 23rd, he would be at Korea at the 24th most likely. But that doesnt matter, I bet progamers can adjust their sleep and jetlag anyway.
I think the reason is not this simple unless its confirmed. -Flash is probably a nubcake and never traveled outside of the country. -KT coach being a dick, forcing him to stay to help Master's.
