The two off the top of my head that I can think of are en taro adun or adun toredas...however you spell it.
There might be others too...anyone know what these mean?

toredas = to victory Adun = 1a2a3a It makes sense... the citadel of Adun lets you get Zealot leg speed, which makes the Protoss army 1a2a3a-able. Seriously: I don't know their exact meaning but they're most likely equivalent to hail Adun or something.

This suggests that the phrase En Taro Adun means 'long live Adun'. 1a2a3a is funny though =P Does it make any sense to say "long live so-and-so" after he has died though? ![]()

i've got the original 110 page starcraft book right here with like 20 pages of backstory on each race, as well as a general overview of the campaign storyling, and 3d renders of the units and descriptions of them both in the game and the lore.

And with all that, you still got it wrong . The guy you are thinking about is Khas. He brought the religion of the Khala and ended the big civil war between the tribes. However, there were some who rejected that religion and turned rogue. Adun was the executor sometime later who was ordered to round up the rogue protoss and execute them. Adun was successful in capturing them, but refused to kill them. Instead, they were banished from Aiur forever; they ended up on Shakuras and become the Dark Templar. That's why both the High and Dark Templar honour and respect Adun.

Adun was successful in capturing them, but refused to kill them. Instead, they were banished from Aiur forever; they ended up on Shakuras and become the Dark Templar. That's why both the High and Dark Templar honour and respect Adun....and the Khala is more than a simple religion, it is a psionic network connecting all Protoss. It is from the Khala and its formidable energies that the Protoss derive their powers. Not all Protoss trusted this "great link". Those who refused to join the Khala were known as Dark Templar, Adun's campaign and the Dark Templar's eventual exile were reprisal for this "heresy". The Conclave limited the energies of the Khala to a narrow band of the "psionic spectrum". The Dark Templar felt that this was a foolish and regressive policy, and that the Protoss would only reach their full potential after embracing energies of all shade and hue. This turned out to be true, the Conclave had been greatly handicapping itself and eventually paid for the price for their arrogance. After the events of the Brood War, this unification was finally achieved... though at great cost: Aiur lost and much of the great link destroyed. The pre-Brood War Protoss relied on a massive concentration of one type of energy; whereas the Post-BW Protoss had much less total energy at their disposal, but had access to the full spectrum. This shifting of emphasis accounts for many of the innovative Protoss war machines which were constructed in the years leading up to the Swarm's reawakening under Kerrigan. If the newly unified Protoss rebuild the great link, their power would be unimaginable. (I would guess flying DTs that shoot scarabs). There are interesting parallels to be drawn between the new Protoss and the post confederacy Terran Renaissance post, but that's another topic entirely. + Show Spoiler + I had too much coffee and have something really boring I am putting off... sorry.
