I think the newest ver is still has some bugs. I try it on the first mission of chapter 4. When i got to my high templar troop. The camera changed to the lower right base and the game freezed. It's not actually freezed, but i can not move the camera or do anything else other than select the unit.

it sounds like it freezes when you hit a ums "vision move" trigger. Not sure what it's actually called, but with the different resolution, it sounds like the "center" action is screwed up

you wouldn't really want to play with it, as the bugs make it unplayable anyway (most notably, minimap clicking and auto screen centering with the double hotkey press).

Someone probably already mentioned this but there is a bug where it shows where burrowed lurkers (zergs) are if you don't have obs (You can't hit them, but you can see the burrowed sprites on the screen).

Clicking move or right clicking a rally point from a structure works on the minimap, but issuing a command or pressing R and clicking the minimap doesn't work, units seemed to go bottom middle.

fix all the bugs for this and it'd be fucking awesome.

The 5.1 version runs really smooth and well on Windows XP 64 bit.

I'm loving this. When I play on hamachi it adds a whole new facet to the game which never existed :D

All I had to do was Download, use Winzip or Winrar to unzip the file(I didnt even unzip it to my SC directory, just plopped it on the desktop), open "ResSettings" (to do this, right click -> Open With -> Notepad) and change Screen Width and screen height with my resolutions.

Also, you guys having problems running it, I have it working fine at 1920 x 1080 at the most recent version.

Edit - as well, I'm not having any bug issues at all with it... I can clicky the minimap fine, I don't have sprite issues, and I'm even running Vista 64bit, the most unstable of them all!

Maybe the SC gods are gracing me or something... the OP is updated with the newest version, make sure you guys have that.

Can you please explain to me how you apply this notepad adjustment (which I was able to accomplish) to the game? I don't understand, I changed the resolution setting but it doesn't affect the game and I'm not sure why it would if I simply open the Ressettings icon and change the resolution. How does it know what I'm applying it to and how do I denote what I'm applying it to (i.e. SC BW)?

I have the resolution hack in a subfolder of my starcraft folder. I don't have to point it to SC, it knows what to load. If the resolution you put in doesn't seem to make a change, try a different one. Mine didn't work with the first resolution I tried, but it worked with my second choice. Just double click the "insect loader" and if your SC loads looking different, you're good to go.

I've got a bug where I can't use my keyboard when it's on in single player...

edit- it seems to work for a few seconds after alt tabbing, but then it reverts to no keyboard use.

And I can't get it to screenshot even when it allows me to press buttons.

Sorry for the bump but I have 2 problems

- it does not seem to work for a pirated copy of sc. It tries to load StarCraft but then shuts down.
- it does not seem to work for the iccup version of sc, it says game.dll not found..

any ideas? I copied the resolution hack over at the sc folder and I'm running the launcher on the folder itself.

no that's not how they do it in movies. In movies they record like four times from different points on the map, and then mash them together to get one big view. It's tedious work.
