He is, he commentates now, he only recently played in the Heritage league, but that was special.
(TLPD also says he's retired.)

Anyways, here's to Jaedong fleeing to T1. Fantasy/Jaedong/Bisu would be sick, if they could retain Bisu and grab JD. But then there'd be no point of watching SC. Who wants to see one team destroy all?

IIRC the factors are #1) you have to meet the minimum requirement for length of time playing and #2) have to play in a certain % of your team's Proleague games during that time (1v1 or 2v2 both count).

Here's the bit describing what makes a player eligible for FA, from the Korean News Flash article that was all about it last year: On November 19 2008 08:57 LosingID8 wrote: Rules and details of free agency are now clearly written in the 41st section of the e-Sports Official Rules. Starting in 2009, progamers who have been active since March 22nd 2006 and played in at least 15% of team games will be the first players to receive the free agent status.

Or is this a pure free market where players have 100% freedom in choosing their teams. Personally, I just wish Samsung can retain Stork/Jangbi. It would be awesome if they can get solid terran like Sea or Light though.

I'd like to see him go to Samsung Khan or CJ Entus(Entus more for opportunities rather than me being a fan). Khan would provide him with some fantastic Protoss training partners and give Khan a boost to its terrible terrans. But realistically he's probably going to retire soon at this rate and maybe it would be better for him to stay with his team through the end. Either way I'm happy XD. But, I would like to see some things shaken up. I'm sort of sick of how stagnant the teams seem in terms of rosters.

Right now if they face Flash or CJ(any team with top class tvt and tvp), they wouldn't have an ideal player for the ace match, Fantasy got torn apart by Flash their last game, and Iris/Skyhigh would laugh at Fantasy, basically, while Bisu wouldn't be as sure as you would want. Yarnc's top class zvz would hopefully be able to help hyuk/thezerg as well. FBH or go.go going to stars would benefit both parties, I think. It's kind of funny that most of the things said in the first post are still true despite it being so long ago. (Although fingerboom's main problem is no longer protoss, it's now getting consistent players of any race besides Flash + Violet). Are stork/jangbi ever likely to split apart? I could see another team in theory luring one of them away for some reason, but not both. January might be willing to throw them overboard as well based on the rumors towards the end of R5. I think Jangbi would benefit from a different environment, as I think it's clear that while he has the potential to go much further, it isn't manifesting itself on khan and he's been sort of stagnant recently.
