They only banned those that are controversial in nature.
If I go pro in Korea, and beat go.go, I will buy an ant and smash it with a hammer. But that's controversial, riiight?
But, who cares 'cause it's awesome. If I were pro I would get to the game area ahead of time and fill the ceiling with balls of my opponents face on it with a big red X on it so that after I win hundreds of balls fall and my opponent wants to murder me.

didnt watch the whole thing but iirc a clip where 910 says i dont lose to people who uses bugs and go.go said something like why do people keep saying its a bug, its skill.

Q: You built Nexus in the opponent's secondary base. 도재욱: He (go.go) has been doing the similar things to me, so I intended to copy him. He often builds a lot of command centers even when he is winning the game. I wanted him to know how I was dissatisfied with that. Originally I wanted to recall probes, but I couldn't afford to.
Q: Did you prepare your ceremony? 도재욱: No, I didn't. But when I saw him (go.go), I suddenly wanted to do that. I avenged other progamers who have been insulted by him.
Q: Is there anything else you'd like to say? 도재욱: I have something to say to Kim Changhee. I think it is not cool to hurt other progamers' feelings both ingame and out, especially when you are also a progamer. It's good to set the tone before a game, but it is not right to build a command center in the opponent's base. I want him to show a more mature and polite attitude on Battle.net, too.
What's so bad about making ccs in their base? It seems to me to be a polite way of saying PLEASE LEAVE, both players' time is being wasted by the guy who clearly lost not leaving. It seems way more rude to sit in the game and stall for the inevitable by just sitting there.
Rofl go.go didnt do it in a way like you described. It was anything but polite. Go.go's time wasnt being wasted in the blue storm game because he built the cc with his finishing blow. Best would have gged any second. Go.go did it in way to rub it in best's face. Literally kicking someone while they're down

or mutalisk stack or holdlurker or other bugs that are considered part of the game nowadays?
return cargo bug allows workers to get up worker-blocked ramps that would normally be impossible. Mineral walking with workers requires full vision of the minerals to right click.
You really won't see their minerals when you are first scouting so mineral walking early on in the game is out of the question. (maybe not for zerg with overlord/drone, woul be retarded imo)
An example of this is ForGG vs Nalra Game 3 (search youtube) where he return cargos his way past 2 probes blocking the ramp. There'd be no other way he could have gone up the ramp into his base unless Nalra seriously mismicros his 2 probes on the ramp.
If return cargo bug is allowed, there would be no reason to put a worker on the ramp for ramped maps, terrans would have to wall-in more to hide tech. Sneaky strategies would be easily seen on ramped maps.
Return Cargo Bug is detrimental to high level starcraft as a result. Its not as malicious as infinite stacked workers or other idiotic bugs but it doesn't do anything to make the game better.
The others (mutalisk stack and hold lurker) add to starcraft strategy and the overall game and are definitely not game-breaking. Neither is invincible and both can be countered by competent players and/or paranoid people or people with amazing game sense and reactions.
You have to love that scared look go.go has when he loses. He might have been expecting something like that from best after he built a cc in best's base. lol

If u can use lurker hold, u should be able to use allied mines imo. I love that thing boxer did and i love this thread, so many awesome posts!!
allied mine isnt allowed because its different from stop lurker as in you can only do it in melle and tvb games because in one on one you cant ally your opponent.
Allied mines is so ridiculously gay omfg, I had a whole channel of [pain] noobs telling me how allied mines is so cool and wouldn't listen when I said it's an illegal bug and is retarded (and it changed the result of a game).
