oh woot no more 2hatch muta. Looks like carriers will remain strong though, especially now timing push on blue storm has been furtherly weakened (no more tank spot to hit natural). Everybody'll have to go for the Flash build and outmacro the carrier going protosses while carrier going protosses can get even greedier.
Also cool that they shrunk the huge ramp, so we'll see less mapsplitting games. The expos at 6 and 12 are still so easy to protect as Z though

awesome. i hope they add the new bluestorm to iccup so i can make 2 rows of turrets behind my minerals. that might hold the mutas off for an extra 45 seconds!

and i was hoping for blue they woulda made the wall behind the first nat far enough so tanks cant siege behind it and target the exp t.t

A quick note, though : the (Tr) versions of Hwarangdo and Wuthering Heights are wrongly named.

hurray! maybe terrans will stop crying about blue storm. It's a cool map and this should make it a little easier to hold off some muta harrasses.

So which map is the best? Which map is the new Peaks/Blue Storm/Python/Longinus? And which one is the new Unguro Crater, meaning no one will play it?
Anyone has that insight?
I think they should have additional routes to Blue Storm so that players can maneuver their units around a bit more.

TR (short for training) versions take the randomize starting location function off the map, so that you can pick what position you and your opponent spawn at

Changes overlayed on top of Katrina SE. Some things might not be actual changes like gas coming from geyser or animals in different positions.

I think that Wuthering Heights will be really good for PvP. 2 gate is viable and expos pay off a bit more than normal. And the center ones are hard to defend. Storm drops will also be big.

after playing a few games on some of these maps, i've really taken a liking to them. they're much much better than last season's maps. Hannibal is rather interesting, I played a game on it and it was the closest and most intense game i've played in a while, very back and forth. I have a slight feeling that it may end up being imba for TvZ though, zerg can probably flank too effectively. i played a TvP though so i can't say much yet. Othello is damn good too, gonna be the new python.

I think Hannibal is only for 2v2s in progames, of course that is no reason that you shouldn't be playing 1v1 if you want to.
Why hasn't Hwarangdo been used in any pro matches yet? Is it OSL only or something? I think it looks really cool and I am excited to see how the pros play on it. Oh well, it looks like the OSL will be using it A LOT so I guess there is no reason to complain about having to wait.

FYI, GTR's pack contains versions 0.9 and 1.0 of Hunters. It was updated to v1.1 to fix a bug in the observers. Download from mapdori
