Nah, I was really, really angry. I am sure you know this feeling, but ofc, I know it wasn't nice from me at all. I sincerely apologize and I won't do it again. Sorry guys.
Well... props for fessing up and apologizing! Can you please elaborate on the program or method used and all it's capabilities? I don't find anything with a simple google search but I know for a fact those things exist.
To the OP IvaNioX_twitch why didn't you drop him? Also are you using K-launcher to protect yourself from similar things?
As of writing this message the top account on ladder has Free Wins 50 (out of 57 games) Opponent instant forefeits (87.72%) and 0 losses.

Safe to assume it's also a lag or drop hack user on another scale. I check on ladder every few months or so there's always at least 1 account that has similar stats.

Shitty thing to do and that shit definitely contributes to killing this game (even though it's already basically dead imo) but what can ya do about it. Hopefully he understands it's a piece of shit thing to do and it doesn't do it again. well we could ban krocan from every single foreign tournament for starters... You could. But why? There are tons of ex-hackers in the community that play tournaments today and we're talking about hackers who hacked in tournaments. This dude is far from that. Also, high profile foreign players stream snipe / stream cheat all the time and continue being able to play because it's not 100% provable. I feel it and see it quite often when I play or watch a tournament where there isn't a massive delay on the stream. It is what it is and the community is so small, there's no point in banning players for shit like this. He got caught and probably won't do it again but who knows. The community is full of sweaty 30 year old dudes who do shitty things similar to this on the reg; especially amongst the competitive community. Just because it's not so black and white like it is with this guy doesn't mean it isn't happening everywhere. What actually should happen is every single tournament organizer should legitimately have a 20 minute delay on their stream so POS like this and many, many others can't do anything to screw over people in games that actually somewhat matter. But then again, that's my opinion. Everyone will have their own. I agree with Eon in the sense that you're awfully paranoid to a fault. You are correct that there is certainly stream sniping vs Artosis because he has such a large following and his animated reactions incentivize foul play. But again, these are just random ladder games with no actual bearing. Remember, the eyes see what you believe - not the other way around. Your mindset is prone to dismissing standard variance (BO advantages, scouting direction/timing, all in/gambles) as cheating. It's highly unlikely that it is remotely commonplace that devoted Starcraft players at our age are wasting their time cheating vs a random twitch streamer who garners less that 30 viewers.
You're simply wrong. I don't think I personally get stream sniped and I dont have that mindset at all. I don't think you understand how I think of the game at all actually. But then again, you're Yaj, a guy who lives for internet trolling and bm. So, who knows if you even believe the things you say. You're probably just trolling and peddling BS as usual.

You've perfectly and concisely proven my exact point. It's not how you think about the game - it's your outlook in general. I was active in the Brood War scene out of pure nostalgia and yes, I enjoyed a bit of drama (mainly to kill some time during slow hours in the office/work) but this was 5-6 years ago. I think before today I've prob posted 5 times on TL in the last few years and yet you still harbor a one dimensional perception of who I am as if we are all still teenagers and do not evolve.

It's highly unlikely that it is remotely commonplace that devoted Starcraft players at our age are wasting their time cheating vs a random twitch streamer who garners less that 30 viewers. At the same time, you can look at it from another perspective: why not use a tool to give yourself an edge in the game? There are plenty of tournaments with money, for one country bigger, for another lesser money. All it takes is to open a cast with no delay to give yourself a serious advantage. And there are hardly any risks when it comes to proving someone streamcheating (side note streamsnipe =/= streamcheat). This could also be a cultural thing. In heroes of might and magic III, when playing a low MMR ranked game, I did not enter any password as a protection. I mean why, it's a totally meaningless game played only for fun. Then the guy opened the save, checked what I have etc. Essentially unsportsmanship behaviour. Was it my fault? No, I believe the guy acting dirty is in fault here. Could I have protected myself? Yes. Another game, Disciples II, this time with money at stake. After defeating a certain person a couple of times, the person goes to such lenghts in map editing / streamcheating against me, that even an average viewer gets suspisious. On top of that, if we talk about time investment on the game, that person spent A LOT of time playing this game, even worked with the balance-team.
Anyway, my message is, give people an opportunity, and they will take it / use it. Don't be blindfolded by your own beliefs on the matter. I once also believed that it wouldn't make sense to cheat in an old game that you spent so much time on, even for money. I still like to believe that, but not to such a big degree.

Well yes, of course but that is entirely different. I was exclusively referring to Starcraft since it's the only game I've ever competitively played as well as casual ladder streams. Without a doubt, when playing for money, protection is required and that is just common sense (but I believe all major tournaments are streamed on delay?).
Only the BSL Proleague would be major target for foul play. But if would be impossible for myself (a 2100 MMR active ladder player with many years of experience) to advance to the round of 4 while stream cheating without making it blatantly obvious. The top tier players could certainly gain a small edge with a quick peek to distinguish location/openings but I believe any foreign player that has reached and remained at the top did so through love and dedication to the game which coexists with integrity.

krocan got tilted when i killed a big mass of drones with ht dt drop, after that he "switched to massive lag" then inmediatly i turned on the stream and got what we see in the main post.

That's a valid question! What capabilities does this program or method provide? I imagine it's some software that blocks the opponent from dropping you and also makes you lag to hell. If it's just overloading your network, you'll get dropped... so it's something more for sure.
