I made a new UMS map trying to capture the feeling of being Artosis Terran vs a Zerg Computer that uses Ogre strategies.

You spawn Bottom Left corner of Blue Storm and have to make your way to the Top Right corner and free Tasteless.
You have the moral dilemma of sacrificing the Guys In Chat to the Dono Cabal for 69 minerals each or keeping them alive.
Wifetosis is INVINCIBLE.

The Deep Lore

Tesagi Tyranium Year 6969... The plott thiccnz.
In spite of the overwhelming victory of Admiral Artosis over the Pusagi Protectorate at the battle of 12 Nexus,
God Emperor Ho has demoted him to Rear Admiral, until the situation with agent Tasteless has been resolved.

The Ogre Brood of The Zesagi Zanyum first appeared 39 years ago in October,
now has captured a Pusagi Stasis Cell on the nearby planet BS 1.2, containing what's left of agent Tasteless,
who was automatically recalled there during the battle of 12 Nexus.
The Zesagi do not have the means to destroy the single Pylon powering the Stasis Cell.
A well placed EMP can bring down the Pylon shields long enough for you to destroy it and free agent Tasteless.

The Tyranium's best agent Wifetosis is under your command and will be helping you achieve your objectives.
Nyoken, The Great Old One, highly recommends the use of tactical nukes. The planet is mostly impervious to our
preliminary scans. We established mining in an old penal colony of G.I. Chads overseen by a Dono Cabal.

Had a good first impression but felt like not much is happening when I played the map. CPU doesn't build anything as it's supply blocked. So it's just sieging forward step by step.
The permanent dark swarms also helped me more than hurt me. Could easily kill sunkens just standing under the swarms.

Would suggest to split placed units to a separate CPU and add more unit spawn triggers.
Or get the CPU to actually build units.

I'm very curious to try this when at home, but I just had to say that this made me laugh so hard already, and you should feel good about your creative output.

Lel. He's not the inventor of Ogre Zerg (neither in real life, nor in the Lore).
In the first map's Lore he's a double agent spying on the Pusagi Protectorate for the Tesagi Tyrannium.
Since his body got killed in there, his consciousness has been uploaded to a nearby Pusagy stasis cell that the Zesagi captured (they want the information too). So now Rear Admiral Artosis has to once again try to retrieve the information by rescuing agent NP (aka Tasteless).

My experience 100% as well.

The "it didnt build" trigger was funny the first time, but felt dumb as it repeated with each new building type, If every building had a small percent chance "not to build" I would find that funnier.
Maybe I suck but with my first depot and barracks "not building", I had lings in my base before I had units. They were 1 shotting donos, so I had to sac them all to avoid wasting them, which I didnt want to do.
There were easter eggs I thought would do something that didn't, like 2 girls 1 cup, the two hero ghosts, the templar in bot right, etc.
I didnt understand why there were random invincible sunks...

I'm pretty sure I updated it since ScoutWBF played it. Added a few more waves. It was made with the intention of frustration in mind lel. I guess maybe too well on that front. Yeah it's possible to trigger something out of order but as long as u don't die u should be able to beat it. Plus you get an invincible unit at the start u can use for many things... some would consider unnatural.
