This bug literally just ruins the already rough ladder experience to the point that it's hard to even bring myself to play this game at all right now.

Hosting a major tournament thats broadcasted is probably still to much of a hassle, since SB does not provide Obs mode so far i imagine.

Hint:

-If you use FULLSCREEN (menu options video fullscreen) with relatively high value of gamma
then you are able to know exactly the moment when terran glitch scv. (your screen monitor gamma decreases, similar to fog of war zone)

as soon as it happen, you should alt + tab, that will give you the chance to know if is only 1 scv scouter or the huge scvmagic box.


also, another clue is a strange lag when the first glitch happen*


*(if tr<<16 then forget this method)

While I do agree with this, there is the concern that the script could be flipped and they could accuse players defending the rush of maphacking based on reacting before they see it. The reaction of course coming from the gamma change on screen

this doesn't seem too OP to me. can't you just stack attack and stall until your bunker/lings/zealot are done? it takes quite a while to set up a decent group of flying SCVs, + they have to scout you. since they also have to fly to your base, you will ALWAYS have the worker count advantage. if its an account known for doing the bug, that makes things even easier since you can rush sunk/fast rax/fast gate or cannon

in the english FPM community stack workers has always been legal, and any race can deal with it with ease.

One thing is certain, u never actually played against it.

So u get the idea, stacked scvs can get on top of your nexus and kill it because they are out of zealot or probe range.

I don’t think whether it’s defendable or not matters. It shouldn’t be allowed. It ruins the game by being so powerful and so many people are doing it because of that. If everyone is doing this stupid bug it makes the game boring and predictable.

Also it’s easier to defend in FPM. Since minerals are stacked and right by your base you have more Army and minerals to defend it when it arrives. If you don’t suspect it in regular maps you have hardly anything to defend when it arrives

You can't, they can just hover over everything and they lose collision. You really should read over the thread before you start being rude to people. If it was that easy, it wouldn't be getting people into 2500 MMR

just a rollback to patch 1.23.8.9411 on EUROPE/AMERICA . It was the case on Asia for a while.

Are those with the bad data error able to play again? It's been unplayable for weeks since the recent patch update.
Switching the update to Asia server didn't work for me in the past either.

Should be able to, but if switching to the Asia server didn't work then I'm not sure it's gonna be better on this patch (as it's the same one that was on Asia). Maybe try reinstalling now?
