Oh except on ZvP... depending the style I'm playing. When I'm playing macro style with hydra/ling/lurk only then I'm usually pumping from about 10 hatches so there's almost no micro going on :p | ||

I like to use storm/reaver in all my mu's, sometimes even skip getting early robo in PvT to do a little dragoon dancing against mines. I pretty much depend on my harass ability and timing attacks. Macro's not too bad though, finally learned to max out at the 11:50 mark in PvT and about 13:20 in PvZ. But thats not always the best option, as I painfully learned. I'm very random with what I do, throw in a shuttle, load an archon + 2 temps, scourge trailing me, drop archon, kill them, reload, storm nearby hydras. Or as retarded as sending +2 zeals over mine fields and trying to kill them without losing a single one. I'm an aggressive player too, so I try to get the game done mid-game, I'm not very good managing crisis late game periods but I've become gradually better at it. (Ex: fucking deflier/crack drops, 3/3 200/200 terran ball, 200/200 PvP stalemates.<--gay) | ||

Because you need to know when to micro or macro. Whoring workers all game or not making enough workers is all relative to your opponent. | ||

Well actually, mid to late game mostly i sit in my base clicking at unit producing structures and clicking at the minimap -_-' 60 APM doesn't really allow you to spread the actino around. | ||

Like dropping 4 DTs into an undefended mineral line and let them do the work. Or atk move my goon army while managing my 2 shuttles for zlot bomb. Pulling units back abit before storm in PvZ helps, storms on the further back hydra while flanking with zealots helps, drops in route of peon escape route w/ reaver helps. I don't pull super apm micro, I rather take my take to set up the attack properly, and that leaves me with more time to tend to my horrible micro and maybe some other harasses. | ||

I used to be a Z player but I switched to protoss because ZvT I got raped so horribly hard by a decent T player that can micro vs lurkers (my lurk/ling micro was awful). And late game microing with swarm constantly casting? Thats heavy on the micro for sure. | ||

2on2. My P ally more or less suicides all his lots at the enemy protoss ramp to let me sneak 8 speedlings up his ramp, and the game will more or less be decided by how much damage I manage to do with them. Ahhh, the thrill! | ||

macro game control strategy (includes timing and such) micro I find micro to be ineffective, as in it is time consuming. It's not that my micro sucks. In fact, my micro is better than my micro. Most of the time, microing is just being cute, not a game deciding factor. Yes, July's muta micro alone can win games but he's a progamer and I'm not. Also, I don't play Zerg | ||

Only kind of hardcore macro play in PvZ i can imagine, is the mujuk 2 base into 150/169 pop, then double expo. replace the remaining factor with high tech units according to zerg's, but even then, you have to be real careful with what you storm/drop at. I also find early game scenarios, where micro is absolutely crucial and macro is relatively the same for when both players start pumping units. | ||

Since you mentioned PvZ, I'll talk about my experiences with it. Usually, I send out my army and split them really fast so they have a 'larger surface area of attack.' Then I storm 2~3 times, go back to my gateways, and come back. Early game micro is 'easy.' I don't konw how else to put it. It's not that hard not to fuck up consindering zealots are the easiest basic units to micro. I'm going to go on a little side rant here: I've heard about P players bitching about idiotic dragoons since forever but god damn. I really feel their pain now. Just yesterday, I played about 10 games on LAN and my dragoons got stuck in 3 games. They would not fucking move until I pressed hold and reissued the command. | ||
