I haven't had any lag thus far except one game versus someone from south america the change happened yesterday late in the evening for me fwiw (Canada East time) would not work either ... from personal experiance i can say that america to korea is often fine but europe to korea is horrible ... jaeh tehre are some lucky folks but most people just cant and i get that we can make a cap like 1-5 minutes then global but if someone need a long time for a game and THEN it lags every time its even worse

I think Blizzard probably want global matchmaking to keep an active/healthy playerbase for players outside of KR, but maybe there could be some sort of compromise, like EU to NA is usually fine for most players for instance. For those who genuinely struggle to find adequate competition outside of KR players, then I guess they will still need to play on a KR gateway, but for most players, it is not that important.

The funny thing is i always played on Fish with 1.16 and it was 1000000 times better than this shit. TR8 is not the old L2.

Please bring back EU ladder, there are enough people to find games within 60 sec always

The KR player player left the game, I assume out of frustration due to latency. Pretty sure he would have won the game otherwise, but mid you this was about 7AM KR time.. I agree, at least in sc2 ,EU to NA is totally playable for me and would be a better practice than very laggy games vs koreans
