After comparing screens I support your words. You might be true, because little units (like ling, scourge, obs) can hide up at corner and overlay makes them less visible, and I even see menu area covers a patch of mineral. OK, next time I will try to resize those corners but keep in mind that it can affect prettiness of overlay. I just needed at start a proper transparent default model of terran (+protoss, zerg) overlay so I could size them properly to fit them 100%.
