Sziky's thoughts after stomping everyone in the KOTH:
I just played vs the oldschool. If I prepared? I'm active now so...
It doesn't make much sense to play inactive (SC2) players, but if they if pick up BW again then ya!! I want to play them all and beat them all :D
But it's good to see 800-1000 viewers watching this. GJ and GL!
Next TLS pls :D And may all the oldschool players stay and play!

Q: How well did you prepare for the games? Anything/anyone special you practiced for?
trutaCz: I didn't prepare specifically for this event, I just played ladder as I always do. My play was good 1 month ago when I was able to sit in top 40 on fish, now it's not so fine.
LancerX: Sure, I didn't practice for this, I think I should play with a handicap..
INF3CTED: I played couple of games on those maps but in the end, skills runs through my veins.
You should always practice against Mondi, even in real life. In every person's life there is one Mondragon looking at your soul with those skillful eyes, flawless in every movement in every decision. Everything you do he is twice better, everything you dream of, he has accomplished. In the end, Mondragon is your biggest challenge in life, but you know you can beat him, don`t you?
Marwin: I play on fish from time to time, also a lot of 2v2 on iccup.
Zaraki: I just play ladder games, I didn't prepare for anyone, I never train that way. Maybe that's why I don't get better results :D
Q: Who helped you practice? Did the lineup work together and is there a strategy prepared?
trutaCz: I practised with Koreans. Nah, no strategy prepared.
LancerX: It would be unfair to do special training for these players.
INF3CTED: My strategy is kill them all, leave no witnesses.
Marwin: No special tactics, just increasing skill playing mass games on fish.
Zaraki: I have no idea about who's even going to play hehe. I dont think I stand a chance though.
Q: If you saw the oldschool games yesterday, what do you think about their skill level? Are you confident in your lineup beating them?
trutaCz: I saw few, maybe two, three of all? I think the same as I've posted before on TL - skill level is low. But it has to be, this is Broodwar, you can't come back not touching (practising) BW for years and play high level games. Well I'm confident against anyone except Sziky since I always lose to him, and the skill gap between us in ZvZ isn't really big.
LancerX: I would like to face Lamer or SarenS. I feel confident in my TvP, so maybe I can do some humiliating builds -_- I don't wanna face Zergs or Toss, cause the match-ups barely changed since the oldschool guys played.
INF3CTED: Yesterday games were really amusing, I saw big potential in many of the players. MaNa, Mondi, Cloud, TT1, HayprO, Eriador all played really solidly and I can`t really comment on their skills, nobody from the new schoolers can. We need to respect those guys and admire them for what they did.
I was disappointed that Predy, Arew and GoOdy didn`t make it because they practised and they have the skill to be in the top, I think the games today gonna be close.
Marwin: The skill of the average Broodwar player has risen so much since most of the players switched to SC2, so I'm quite confident.
Zaraki: I think they are pretty good. It was so refreshing watching those games and I think if they practice a little they could be at top foreign level again ezpz.
Q: Anyone in the oldschool lineup you particularly want to beat? Anyone you played before/any "rivalry"? How did it go? Or any player there you're a fan of?
trutaCz: Well I'm not excited to beat anyone from oldschool lineup. I played many of these guys in the past on ladder probably, even thought I was some B/B+ lvl. I don't have any rivarly with them because when they were playing a lot I wasn't, so we were not same skill. From the past, I can only remember when close before the polish WCG qualifications, MaNa was looking for a practice partner so I offered myself, but he said I'm too weak =(
INF3CTED: I want to beat them all, it`s simple - you kill the bad guys.
I don`t have any rivarly since I started playing in 2010, so nobody knows me... I'm most deadly, hiding in the shadows.
I (recently) played most of the oldschoolers. Mondi 3:1 (P) Ptak 0:6 (T/P/Z) ClouD I think 2:6 (Z) Predy 0:2 (Z)
Arew 0:1 (Z) SerenS 1:2 (Z) and I probably forgot someone :D
And I wanna say that the games vs Mondi were really hard. Also, Cloud did pretty well.
In the end I wanna give my respect and gratitude to Artanis[XP] all the TL handsome donators and forum masters, Stratos, BigFan (who put a lot of effort), Raven, Sayle, Kenzy/Freman and ofc Yoda because you always need to give him a shout out.
Marwin: There aren't any players I admire in this squad. So I guess they'll see how far they are from the nowadays active players.
Zaraki: I would like to beat Mondragon or Sen, they are both my zerg heroes. I've played vs Cloud, PredY, Fosken and Eriador and it was pretty fun.
That's it! A bit of confidence, a healthy dose of BM, respect and insecure ZaRaki :D Sorry I couldn't get more, but it was just a last-minute idea. Hope you enjoyed the read and will enjoy the KotH event as well as the second day of the main tournament! After yesterday's cast, I'm sure I will See you in the chats!
