what are the changes to the old map?

The main changes are: -Reverted to single corner expansions -Much wider low ground side paths -High ground 3/9 o clock with single ramp -Smaller centre hills -Added ramp from side path to centre hills

Terran can wall the nat very well, and defense is strong here. + Show Spoiler +Most maps have nat chokes that are 8 tiles. A barrack and two depots stacked vertically equals 7 tiles. So terran cant wall the natural tightly with one rax two depots on most maps, and gameplay is best when that is the case. This map, with the eggs, has a thinner choke than normal. It is the same as Jades vertical nats; only 6 tiles. The unbuildable tiles make it so that terran cant tightly wall the nat with 1 rax 2 depots, despite the choke being thinner than normal. So the walling options are not worse than other maps, but inline with the standard in this respect. Indeed, technically terran could wall his nat here with one rax one depot and he would be left with a 1 tile gap to block just like if it was on a standard map but using 2 depots. All races can wall this map very well, and defense is strong here compared to most maps. The unbuildable tiles make sure that it doesn’t swing too far in that direction though, and therefore gameplay is hopefully at its best. See the detail pictures in the op to get an idea of options.

As for the map: I like the changes, mostly. Not sure about the nat wallins. It's more of a question of balance. The good thing about terran not being able to do a rax expand with complete wallin is that you do not need to worry about dealing (or, more commonly, just except it as one of life's sad facts) with the marines stuck outside the wall issue (although it wouldn't even be a problem on this particular map...)... But if you use eggs, use all the advantages they bring with them: Place them off-tile to allow tight wallins with any building against both sides of the choke. (I think I have already suggested this before).
And don't listen to Nina, she's just not being serious, as always... (at least that's my educated guess... as always...)

@SnowFantasy, the map gives players more options now, expansion options, counter attack movements etc. Also its less tight for balance and fun.
