This is pretty fucking awesome. Now, they need to wear those uniforms from 2001.
Also - has anyone heard ANYTHING about the progress of the new studio at the E&M Broadcast Center in Sangam? Last I heard, they planned to kick-off Champions Winter there but it seems it has been delayed till at least S4 World Championships?

Sounds like something that YellOw have created because of the "Kong" in the beginning.
The only information available right now is that it was made by Yellow, Shark and Lee Doohee and they promote games and manage a lot of Afreeca players and Jaedong and Nal_rA.

doesn't bring much for himself, but he does have a way of bringing out others and not just players, I mean the fans and the producers like OGN.
On April 19 2014 10:07 Falling wrote: I guess Yellow is Mr Showmatch? Does he ever do well in these sorts of things?
He won the last showmatch with Reach, Nal_Ra and GoodFriend. In his BW career he never won any major tournaments but he did win a lot of showmatches and non-premier events.
why do people care about crap like this? so yellow is playing.. WOW let the fake hype keep rolling. You guys know you are going to watch terrible games with him playing so that you can get all nostalgic about a dead boxer bunkering him, this will not be exciting if BW only has a bunch of has beens way out of their prime playing this. The expected "boxer is playing as well" announcement coming soon im sure

Well for like the more competitive BW tournaments we usually watch Sonic's league on Afreeca. But event/show matches like these are really fun and nostalgic. Favorite players of the past playing funny games and chatting while playing its just a lot of fun. Also it's publicity for BW which is really awesome. Plus the fact that OGN is going to be casting this is so hugeeee. I mean OGN just tossed sc2 aside but they care enough about BW to stream this. So grateful T_T I hope Jun Yong Joon casts, that would be SO epic :D :D :D

Your in the brood war forum, you post about hoping players will go to sc2 then your going to get a bad response from people. sc2 isn't exactly accepted 'round these parts.

wow so your intentions were good all along! now i see i should be a fan of both my favorite rts of all time and in my opinion its oversimplified successor that practically forced a bunch of my favorite progamers to switch etc. not like this conversation has happened over and over again on this site resulting in endless flaming started by seemingly innocent but obviously irritating posts. + Show Spoiler +
you need to understand many people here really, REALLY dislike sc2. no use trying to convert us in any way.

obviously your not a bw fan. one of the many who didn't know the true essence of esports, who came to be when sc2 was out. this isn't only about who is the best but bringing back nostalgic innocence and drama of the bw days.
young gamers nowadays who didn't get to see and be in part of the glorious bw days are all insensitive people.

I would guess you mean by.hero? The word stylised as "HerO" refers to Liquid HerO, not to be confused with CJ's herO or ex-STX hero (of clan by. at least in the past), the last being the person I think you would mean.
EDIT: I expected the page would only be in Korean, but realised I know his name, so I checked the page and yes, the photo is there as well. :Þ 조일장 = by.hero, I'm sure you know and it's just habit from being on Teamliquid and seeing HerO mentioned a lot.
by.hero actually does the HerO capitalization sometimes when he plays on fish. like by.HerO but a lot of korean IDs seem to like doing that. too many hero's ~_~

Someone mentioned OGN tossing aside sc2 earlier? Who's broadcasting Proleague then? I've been out of the loop for a while.
this broadcaster named spotv. OGN does mainly League of Legends and some hearthstone + some game variety shows (i think). OGN seems to have completely stopped doing sc2 content, before they used to have some sc2 variety shows featuring kim carry, gorush + others but that show doesn't seem to be getting renewed.

Oh, thanks.
I was wondering if they ever did variety shows with sc2 as well. Back when I had the VLC link for their direct TV stream in 2010 I saw so many shows like that, like that one with July and another that did some weird colour swapping UMS thing. Guessing they do that for LoL now.

Say that someone came in and kidnapped your dog.
She/he then replaced it w/ another one.
Then he finally released the child from imprisonment.
A few people start saying "Well hopefully this happens again."
Do you see why would anyone gets emotional toward that message?
I hope you do.
Are you seriously comparing this to Animals and Children being kidnapped? As someone who has BW and SC2 I know that this thread appears in the community news, and telling him to "plz die" is sick, givin all he wanted was for OGN to show starcraft 2 as well. Uncalled for.
you have to post your name/age/dong??? JAEDONG also in terms of "BW prospering" I have noticed that the "pity BW views" which i called em is about the same, that is there are 20-50 viewers depending on time of day watching foreign BW, but there are more celebrity groupie views in that people like trutacz are getting viewer loyalty, he was at over 200 lately good sign i think, mihgt just be because he was streaming consistently but lancerX typically doesnt get the same views
not so excited about Jung So Rim commentating tho ~_~
I just realized who Sorim-nim is. Didn't hear that much of her, from what I did I don't mind too much. If Kim Carry is there he's gonna carry the whole cast (so funny LOL le pun).
There's a way to point it nicely and a way to be a dick. It you think someone has double standards that doesn't exactly equate to having a licence to be a dick to them, especially since it's a public forum.
Thanks for the correction though, it's appreciated.

My head just exploded.......So excited to see all these guys play.........like wow....grew up watching all of them.......Unbelievable............can't explain how ridiculous this is for me....
hoping for RainBOw or ChoJJa to win.......although Silent_Control was always one of my favorite Terrans...

Hopefully Requiem 815 and stuff like that. Those are the kinda maps that were popular back then i guess.
Cowboy zerg doe
If it's gonna be anything like the Star Final Four they did at the Nexon Arena I'd say that they'll pick maps that the two players facing off played some famous match on back then. So yea we should see plenty of maps that were around when these guys were at their peaks.
Really interesting to see professional brood war transition into star 2, lots of cool content and leagues coming out of Afreeca and now OGN getting back in.
Can someone be clear on where to watch it ? I missed the other event just cuz i didnt knew where it was going to be streamed, there was no stream at the time and pretty much gave up. Really want to not miss this one, someone help us !

Getting Boxer and Oov playing too <3
Boxer vs Yellow. Still a better love story than twilight. That would be sick if they got in on that
Infact, after they get Boxer and Oov playing they should do a Fantasy one man tournament where they just show Fantasy being cool for 24 hours playing Broodwar.

I don't suppose anyone could add subtitles somehow? I wouldn't expect it (unless the Koreans did it themselves) except I seem to recall their being some translated release of the Star Final Four on through a torrent. I actually watched it without translations last time because the torrent wasn't working for me, but if they were actually made by someone....would that someone be willing to do it again?
