Starcraft Snipers!

This is one of the most compeititive games on Starcraft BW now. This game is played on Sniper bald locks which was created by Raynor. This game is about Capturing the flag and is played 2v2 compeititvely and 3v3 for fun. Flags are 15 pts, kills are 1 pt and if you get 5 kills in a row without dying you get +5 bonus points with gold/silver medals upon acheiving multiple kill bonuses or a high amount of flags. It has so many elements between who has the best reflexes to be able to quicklock(ql). Who has the best timing (meaning who can predict when you will meet an opponent based on how much time he has had to proceed to the flag). Who can utilize blinds and glitches of the map( blinds are the shadows you cannot see behind pillars, strips beause of pillars, Glitches are pockets of shadow where you cannot see them unless coming at a different angle BUT they see you and don't lose vision at all, but blinds you do). And who can implement the locking mechanisms of DLOCK, SLOCK, Shift hack shot, and even a regular Hackshot (All of which can be further explained here ->http://s15.zetaboards.com/Sniper_League/topic/389380/1/

They moved from USEast to ICCup(even though some players weren't willing to switch), had a messy fuss about the antihack(realized ICCup had shitty service too), and then moved back to USEast. Transitioning to a different server twice killed their community basically.

Snipers was a big part of my life from 2001-2003. Happy to know the game is still alive.

Hello I'm an old brood war player, that got into UMS in the last 5 years, specially Snipers, since the Battle.net UMS community is mostly gone, I was wondering if people still played Snipers in Iccup or if there is a certain server

Basically, I'm bumping this really old thread (and I'm really sorry for doing so) to ask if people are hiding somewhere or if I won't be able to get a 2v2 old school snipers game going nowadays since everybody that knew how to do a shift hack shot left starcraft for good

If anyone gets to this thread with google (thats how I got here) feel free to PM me @Stance_ in my reddit account, we could get a sniper game going in USEast
