The HD graphics mostly look great, but I'm in this for the public quality ladder, which doesn't seem fully functional yet. I like to play fun games too and all, but I need the game and menus to be smooth so that it feels good and efficient (and so I can enjoy it and play well). So, currently I am not sure what I'm going to do, just wait more? I am not sure whether blizzard are going to fix anything with the unresponsiveness and chat text and everything. (easy fix for chat text I guess is option for larger fonts... its just too small fonts downscaled from a too high resolution (2048x1536), don't want to use fullscreen instead of windowed fullscreen cause the high resolution is not so well supported by my screen => low refresh rate, brighter tones flicker, alt+tab to desktop makes desktop unreadable until I close scbw so that my resolution is reset) | ||

Whats pissing me off is that Blizzard doesn't even adress that they are working on it, we are just in the dark. | ||

edit: i made a custom melee 1v1 and someone joined yay my cursor flickers constantly when i record with camtasia, not sure if it shows up in the recording, | ||

Then I started to get games, but the screen after the game is empty. I don't know what information it's supposed to display. But I'm still having fun. Matchmaking is awesome when you do get games. I just wish I could see my score afterwards. | ||

 Jokes aside, as clearly bugged as the ranking is, this is a million times better than ICCUP was for me. I wanna play BW as a Zerg. I push a button. Boom. Done. I love it. No people who can't make and don't know it, no Russian potato farmers where I get 1 FPS due to lag, no getting kicked for playing Zerg. I just push a button and go. For us more casual players, it can be hard to state how big a deal this is. | ||

Currently sitting at 1400 rating after some 15 matches. I never got too into the original BW but this remaster has changed everything... for the better imo :D | ||

I've tried with the FPS cap on and off. None of it helps. I've even uninstalled GeForce experience and made sure that my Game DVR in windows 10 was off (and whatever other stupid features were implemented with game mode). None of it has helped with the lag. It's particularly noticeable when I'm drawing boxes around my units. In bw the box felt near instantaneous. Now, I feel that I have made the box over the unit I want to select, the wireframe shows i've selected it but it seems the boxing is no t responsive. I've also tried turning off my secondary monitor, installing on both my SSD and secondary drive. It's definitely not a matter of my PC specs, while not amazing, it's sufficient to get me a consistent 200 fps in CS:GO...though I'm not sure that's relevant, especially considering I can run 1.16.1 just fine. | ||

I'm having the exact same issue. It's quite annoying not being able to control units like I used to. Let me know if you find a solution! | ||
