if the alternative is to assume it's coincidence that they are all leaving during the transitional period to SC2, yes I would say it's SC2.


So sc2 is to blame when Kespa forces its players to play it? :-(

SC2 makes this hybrid proleague kinda lame to watch. See PL attendance rate for example + the number of retirements coming this way. :-(

But it's not sc2 fault, so instead of blaming sc2 blame kespa, nobody want broodwar to die, at least on this way.


SC2's fault was that it had Starcraft in it's name. Like the coaches said, we wouldn't be having this conversation if it wasn't named starcraft.

Let me help you out. Do you think the WCG would just stop running one of thier biggest crowd drawers for a brand new unproven RTS(that were "terrible" at the time according to sc2 fans)?


Naming the game after starcraft was not a mistake. It was the greatest move by Blizzard ever to draw so much attention to an otherwise mediocre game.
