What are some of the ancient starcraft sites you used to visit throughout the years of bw?
Comming into the scene of around 2000. I remember the sites I always used to read being:
creepcolony.com an old resources site that has been up forever.
Brassknuckles.net Originally started out as a humorious news portal. They also had a lot of Starcraft related content and interview on old players like nanogirl, giggles~lizard, thebusdriver, thor, grrrr etc. Anyone remember this site ? They are still up but only concentrate on news and serious interviews.
broodwar.com Was the best site for replays back in the day! but was also very unreliable going down a lot of the time.
Starcraft Legacy Have to admire sclegacy and what XG3 has did over the years, this site has been there from the start, and was always good to read the community news in the newbie days, glad this site is still around too!

my favorite was always www.icantwin.com, agent911's funny page where he made fun of the z man and dudey(ilnp).
It's not that old tho - I really liked - damn, I've forgotten the name. The old page with all the usa vs canada matches and kali vs battle.net.
new school i never really loved tao of gaming, but firingsquad was cool when soso was still around. He was so happy when he finally met hyori lee;) (hey I would have been to)
There are actually a lot of good sites - sc.org was great back in the days, br.com was and still is cool, sclegacy was good, montaro's site was great and funny.

anyone remember www.scbackstab.com was always good for a laugh. A site dedicated to funny screenshots of people getting backstabbed in games.
They even made a rival site called antiscbackstab.com

Protoss Temple, all about Protoss, unfortunately only in Polish. http://www.in.icpnet.pl/~temple/index2.html Still u can see replays how good pwl[SSF] (1410)Ilintar) played when he was more player than admin web is like 5 years old :D

the girl's name is Eugene Kim. (Kim Yoo Jin)
Wasn't there like a...Serbian or something site...something like blizzard.co.yu? That, along with broodwar.com were my 2 main sources for bw news until they both went down.

Strategy from creepcolony.com Hydralisk Drop This strategy is one of the most common Zerg strategy. It is very effective against nearly all opponents. -Build 9 drones, make an overlord. -Make a pool, a creep colony, and and an extractor. -Build more drones, mine gas, build a hydralisk den, make another hatchery, and make your starting hatchery a lair. -Continue building more hatcheries and morphing Hydras. -Upgrade hydra speed, attack range, and all 3 overlord upgrades. Also upgrade missile attacks and ground carapace. -Continue building mass hyrdas. Don't forget to have spore colonies scattered around your base. -Build 12-24 mutalisks. -Build hydras until you can fill up 12 overlords (48 hydras), but keep some in your base. -Look for a weak spot in the side of your opponents base. Go in with the mutalisks, and have your overlords drop every freakin' hydra into their base. -Ta da!

Nothing comes close. The first one was best since the new verison died quite fast after it came up. I dont think I downloaded a single bad replay from v1234... Everything was kickass.
