flash: if you think about it, who can't multitask these days? everyone is good at it. the best players i think are the ones who do only the things that really matter. important part, i feel like there are many speed-freaks out there in bw and sc2 and sometimes the goal to be faster makes you feel the game is smoother, however if you think about being faster ingame then you probably doing something wrong, no one should think while playing the game to be faster just for sake to be faster, it will make him do bad judgements ingame(becasuse he stopped focusing on actual game but on his performance), i actually salute to players who can slow down(consciously) and do some part 2 times slower just to do it right, everyone should know their weaknesses and strengths note: im not saying that being slow is good you can clearly see his advices being reflected in his own FP VODs

But when I am actually playing, I don't think about it and the hand just goes with the flow. Pretty wierd to know the hotkeys but at the same time you don't. ಠ_ಠ Yeah, I'm pretty sure it all has something to do with muscle memory. You might not remember exactly what hotkeys you used in a game you previously played, but if you were to put your hands on the keyboard and/or play, you'd probably be able to feel which hotkeys you use.

I think it's a matter of preference, some people just prefer to play it fast and yet still being able to make the correct DECISION. As seen in this video , xellos has it's own macro timing order and he despite missing his refinery , seems that he has a habit of macroing every few second although he may not realize he's not doing anything . I think there's pro's and con's however the only way to improve is to play faster and make strategy on the fly .Macro mechanics is improvable , game sense on the other hand takes lot of time ...

Players like flash pick their timings on when to multitask and attack everywhere at once and think about it strategically. Makes me sad when I see pro level players just doing shit without thinking about it because they have nothing else to do and they just end up losing shit.

Walter Benjamin says in an essay that there are things that are unforgettable even though no one remembers them: they are in the memory of God.

I don't think I have any of his older reps on my comp atm to give exact numbers, but I remember him typically being at mid-high 200's, like 280 or so. Now, if you look at his more recent reps such as the WCG games vs Kal and JD, he's consistently lying around 330. There has been a significant rise in APM. ![]()
