pretty interesting, as this higher res really shows how Flash's turtiling works, and how good his coverage is, as well as how many goddamn tanks he has!
Wow--how did you manage to get the game in this view? It looks like widescreen, yet somehow with proper aspect ratio, and far higher resolution. Are you using some external program?

Lol this is pretty damning.
Sorry, I tried to be as constructive as possible. Btw Imbatoss are you going to carry on making those BW for SC2 players videos? They were outstanding, you have a lot of talent with making informational videos.
i didnt listen the casting, but i wanna say the view is really really good, i would prefer a little bit less zoom nonetheless.
What i liked about this view, is that you can see macro and micro more widely, and is very impressive to look even for veterans viewers. It really impressed me how flash does all this things at the same time just with a mouse and a keyboard.

Nice job, btw. The quality is really good although the zoom is pretty odd.
Rep was just released a few days ago.
The way the UI looks is kinda weird, but otherwise looks pretty good
The Stats vs Flash game had to be played at least a couple years ago. No way thats a modern game. The replay probably took awhile until it was released.
This is awesome to watch, but you should really consider getting a partner to co-cast with you, just because your voice will be more lively then you can discuss moves the players are making.
Holy crap that zoom makes the game look so much different. Its as if the world was suddenly more bigger.
I wish we a huge ass zoom in BW/SC2, as an option at the least (sometimes I feel like my screen feels too narrow, I like to see the bigger picture from higher heights). Though my prayers will probably never be heard.
Seeing these in HD makes me realise that SC2 and BW are more similar in terms of map size than I thought. I was never a BW player so when i see BW casts now it makes me feel like the maps were bigger then. I guess its partly due to the clumping of sc2 units and the resolution of sc2 in general. Seeing the games in HD is cool though.

Thanks man! I don't really have the time to do such a self-driven project like that all by myself, but I do have plenty of stuff on the way. Keep an eye out, and soon I'll have plenty of stuff for people to watch. I'm actually preparing for a showmatch coming up this weekend.

Ok but how to make it better. Quality? Techsmith capture codec is lossless and i used h264 vfw on medium settings for youtube with 4000kbit encoder which should be good, given the mostly still small scale animations of brood war unlike say cinematic encoding, and YT using similar level encoding hence further bitrate increases resulting in server side bottlenecking.. So where could improvement be made?

I think the issue with screen size has more to do with monitor size and distance. On a big desktop screen(combination of close, large dimension) all the details are well visible so it isnt a problem(at least for me) but with a smaller notebook/netbook screen or medium size tv at a bigger distance the details are too small to fully enjoy it, even if resolution allows for it
I think it's a useful tool to have in the event it can be switched during a cast from natural screen resultion to something like this. For example in SC2 you've got the ability to zoom in and out so it's obviously something of interest to many, many people. I do agree with a couple of comments in regards to the casting, it could be improved to make the most of such a fantastic opportunity.
I've sent you a message (BroodWarHD) to discuss how UED Gaming can help push this along and hopefully allow many more people to enjoy the work you've put in to this.
ImbaTosS is right guys, he's going to be co casting an excellent exhibition match between Mazur and Pike this weekend. Look for more details on TL and UEDGaming.com soon.
This hack to enable higher res is amazing, just tested it Will be very useful when casting tournaments and stuff. It seems like iccup launcher doesnt agree when I'm using it.
Apparently its illegal to use it on iccup and even bnet~

Yeah you're not supposed to use it. I played some LAN games with it after an OSL Viewing party on our big screen TV and it was lols.
Also I think it was you who mentioned lag, it's not really laggy but everything moves SO SLOW it feels like, just because your screen is super huge and you're used to them going "faster" and having to scroll to keep up.
Fighting spirit is IMBA as fuck cause you can see your main, nat, 3rd at hte same time at the 1920x1080 zoom.
Should be mandatory for casting and observing as far as I'm concerned. I mean, no one disrespects Blizz's art in that game and this resolution increase would mitigate so many of the "shit's ugly by today's standard" complaints.
