Hello everyone, ive tried to look around here in TL a topic about the fastest map players in sc1, For you people who didn't play starcraft, it was very popular and many people enjoyed playing fastest more then normal games.

The point of this thread is to see how many oldschool players who played starcraft fastest, plays sc2, Since it also was a sick community there i might know any of you,
List your Nicknames, tell me what channel you were on?
The oldschool channels where "professionals at sc1 fastest player" were at was Cristal, Op vile, Starcraftdream, Op Mhz. channel 55. and did you participate in any league? Starcraftdream? Vilegaming?

Starcraftdream and vilegaming are both still around. Pretty much the only channel is on West and its 24. Cristal and 55 died :/.

I played FMP from 2003-2007 competitively and was mostly inactive till SC2.

I would continue playing but without BWHF checking hackers in lobby it's annoying to play random games on bnet. Suprisingly there's usually at least one FMP or BGH game available to join on iccup at any given time.

My friends use to complain there was to many fastest games lol.
We couldn't find any good melee
but yeah old school players!

I used to have sooo much fun with FMP back when.

I wish Lurker+Swarm weren't sooo overpowered, though lol. You'd end up screwed as Z if they managed to plant at your choke.

East. We had plenty of euros in La like Mongo, Asscobra, fEaR, Pating, Quang/Marine etc.. I think we had a PaRs member join at some point too. If you used SCD/FGt you'd know me from there.

I played in the 3v3 zc nr MM league. We had a ranking system on some website. I played with clan [BF] (bloodfang). I was really young at the time, but we played at a really high lvl in my eyes but it was kinda newbie compared to actual pros.

I doubt they will come back, but you can still find fastest ladder games on Op UGL on uswest.

pretty sad they played fastest map nilla.. Now they are hanging around TL when they use to refer to us as "low money players". "GG no RE" sums up a typical conversation with any US based fastest player.

As a low money player i used to refer to fastest players in far worse terms than that.

Op SgT on east had several players in it last week when i was online.Fastest clan.

Will always remember Ad-Goose going 0-14 vs me and getting caught using the map hack, remember the days when Penguin gave me the penguin plug as a secret before everyone else and I got so many "Gosu" players attacking themselves those were fantastic days.

Fun to think about how the east players like Shin and goose developed the templar drop through all the cannons and storming the minerals that strategy advanced over time it changed all the dynamics of the game on Fpm, if you didnt play protoss at that time and werent Korean-BF or Angel.white you were destined to lose.
