maybe this is me and my dislike for testie but
maybe testie didnt think he'd be able to beat ret and he said he might have to go, and then when he was 0-2 he decided that it was time for him to go. i dont think testie could haev taken losin this tourney. thats just me though o.o

however, i am positive that testie wouldnt have left if it were 2-0 him =X

i just feel sorry for Oxygen, who put a lot of time and effort to do this
about testie, well he could have planned the poker to another time, 7 straight brood war games *usually* dont last 2h, like, most of them ends at 15-20min at max

anyway, i wont flame anyway
i just want to thank Oxygen for setup a tourney like this one.. and to tell him that he wont be ashamed at the eye of the community

i'll just chime in with aggreenace that yea oxygen, nobody holds this against you, or are worried that the next tourney will be a flop. This is all on testie. When a sports figure is found to be on steroids, they dont blame the organization, the blame the team/player. This event went pretty smoothely imo, and now that you have the kinks worked out and know what to look out for, like suspicious behavior among participants, the next one will probably be even better.

Oxygen: I would encourage you not to let the actions of ONE (singular) person in the BW community stop you from doing what you are doing. Many many people are excitied about what you have organized and hope that you continue. Don't let Testie dictate what you are going to do. This is an awesome idea for the foreign BW community and much of it is owed to your hard work. Thanks for everything. (For more praise see Control's post, nice post btw).

Testie: I hate excuses. I do realize that you are a phenomally good BW player and pretty smart. However, the way you conduct yourself makes you look very immature. I know that is not who you are and I would hope in the future that you would become the person that you truly are. Lose the ego, craze for attention, and the bad manners. Underneath you are just someone who wants to be the centre of attention. Do it for yourself.

maybe so, maybe not

all i know is that if you sign up for a tournament, then suddenly beforehand say you might have to leave (for no really good reason, i mean, come on poker with the boss can be rescheduled, or not scheduled at all if you know you have a match), lose two games in a row and then quit, it looks really bad.

i didnt really keep up with the tourny but from what it sounds Oxy, you put alot of work into it and i guess he (testie) just didnt respect that. i was listening to the shoutcast (nice work pride once the buffering problem stopped it was good) then i switched over to teamspeak where Response was commentating and he still tried to keep us all entertained (which he did)..anyway after watching the reps anyone else get the feeling testie was just bored and couldnt really be bothered to play properly?
