Note: Only episodes 1-72, 74-78 have been uploaded onto youtube. The show ended at episode 91. Still missing episodes 79 to 86. If anyone has these, do let me know.
The full collection of old episodes of Bnet Attack can be found here (youku but better than nothing): http://www.wfbrood.com/movie/Battle/ Some episodes were also subbed and uploaded to youtube.

"During the last match of the B.net Attack (guest: Hwasin) Hwasin used a nuke rush strategy to own his opponent. The angered Battle.net user typed "섹스섹스보지털" which translates to "SexSexPussyHair", before disconnecting from the game.
Meanwhile MBC Co. recieved massive complaints, because the show was a live-broadcast (obviously). The B.net Attack PD explained that because of the time-constraint, they had not taken the usual precautions of contacting the user before starting the game, and thus was not aware of the user's identity. MBC announced that they will add necessary precautions to prevent this from happening again."

Awesome! Hopefully someone can sub this and some S-Class players/Proleague starters go on!
Also, I'm not sure about the culture behind it...but can't they put a short warning at the start of the show that its a live broadcast and they are not responsible for the language of the opponents on the show? Seems odd how mere words in one incident could cause a show to be discontinued.

Alternatively, putting Hyungjoon in your title will guarantee him passing over it.
Fuck yeah, I love watching progamers pwn random nubs on the Bnet. I seriously hope firebathero makes another appearance, BM's his opponent and tries to look weak to give his opponent a chance.
Amazing news, absolutely love this show. As for a live stream, hmm.. it's not too late at night for me, I suppose if my computer is ever feeling up to it I could stream some episodes live.

I love this show, get to watch a bunch of FPView and some super informative and enlightening information once its subbed. Great that there will be more of this since I think there are only a handful of these left after the demise of Jon747.

I hope they venture forth onto US West or US East to pick on us hapless Americans. Perhaps one of us can make an appearance on the show.
Watch the FBH episode to understand the format, but to answer the question, they just pick the people with the best game name.
they usually play on West.
Interesting. According to the Korean characters in the game lobby, they seemed to be playing on the Korean server for the FBH episode. Then again, US West is also full of Koreans.
Perhaps us TL-ers should flood the US West server whenever they have the show running.

B.net attack doesn't really need subs for you to enjoy it though. Unlike a show like Hyungjoon where it's important to understand what they're talking about, b.net attack is mostly about watching progamers roflstomp hapless noobs. So it's all good.

Really looking forward to this, I always enjoyed the B.net Attack episodes in the past.
Also, this is really bugging me; my pronunciation is most likely off, but I just don't see "배넷 어택" as a good way to hangeulise "B.net Attack". Wouldn't 비넷 아택 or something else be a much closer approximation? I would appreciate any input on this.

배넷 is just shorthand for 'battle.net' (koreans pronounce it 배틀넷, don't ask me why)
thanks Moktira! guys, i have a question. when will the show stop? when the featured progamer loses? and after each win, will there be a handicap to the player?
Spoiler-free stream of consciousness report They are using a map that blocks all chatting? D: I guess it is effective counter to 'sexsexpussyhair'.. but still bit disappointing
Also lot of interesting corners btw. First game is the 'warm-up match' against random BWer, and second game is apparently called 앙숙노트 (Nemesis note), where Yellow is pitted against "nemesis" whose identity he does not know.
Little back story, identity of the mystery player was... nah, I'll keep it secret xD. Next corner is called '앙숙에서 절친으로 (From Nemesis to Best Friends)', which is 2v2 of Yellow+Yellow nemesis vs two random BWers. ... Hmm, why do I think the challengers now have less of the chance than they would have had facing Yellow 1v1? lol. Of course unless Yellow side utterly fails to cooperate that is. Better see how it'll unfold.
Okay, so there is list for part 2. I am sure I missed one for part 1 too. Game vs random fan, off-race, Game vs 'possibly pro' (wtf does that mean?), and 1v1 workshop? ...They should really start explaining this sections.

Well it wasn't possibly pro~ it was "AMA" short for "amateur" pro~ the commentators said it was a person almost as good as a pro but still an amateur.... they also said that he was a junior higher~ haha one thing I know for sure is that he plays better than I do~ haha
And then the games after that, they're just there cause Yellow finished the corners so quickly so they just played more games~ and yells wa obsesssed with improving his record~ ah so funny~ I love this show!~

So, is there supposed to be an episode right now or did they actually changed the schedule?

Thanks GTR, my uploading attempt failed after about two hours, got to 95% sickeningly, won't have internet again until tomorrow so I'll try again then.
Note that it's still processing at the moment as it's quite long, if there is no picture in the embedded player the video will not work, if there is a screen-shot on the embedded player but the time is 0:00 / 0:00 the embedded player probably will not work but it will play on YouTube (i.e. click on the ) but if it is still processing you will not be able to leave comments or anything. And if the picture is there and the time is there it has finished processing.

I've been missing some nice main-race macro games so far... then again, I understand that would need some exceptional opponents.
Too bad the opponents are not good enough for the professionals to user their main build...like why did stork 1 base in PvZ? Makes no sense to me...I guess Python is a pain in the ass to wall on but his position wasn't that bad for a forge expansion.
Aughh dubed over in Chinese. Why can't I get over stuff been dubbed over in Chinese I can barely understand maybe 1 in 100 words they say in korean anyway so its not like I'm missing out on understanding. But I can't seem to watch stuff thats in korean dubbed over in Chinese. I've watched a couple of films in Chinesse with English subs thats fine. But for some reason my mind can't deal with Korean dubbed over with Chinesse I just find it to irritating maybe its beacuse I'm trying to learn Korean so I'm subconsciously trying to listen to the Korean even if I don't have much hope of understanding it.
Also the Chinese guy distinctingly says 'OGS MC' why is he talking about SC2 over battlenetattack. Anyway great for anyone who can speak chinese enjoy the show.

Jaedong is an emotional person. When he's sad, he's absolutely depressed and emo. When he's happy, he is ridiculously cute and cuddly.
When he's competitive, he's not just out to win. He's out for blood.
Anyways, I can't wait to sit back for a few hours and watch some Progamer vs noob action. I hope the VODs get up on Youtube soon.

Jaedong lost 2 ZvTs, once against Hiya from a sunken bust of sorts, once after a hard fought game in which he lost his third base multiple times. I could've sworn that second T was a progamer too though, from the way he played. Maybe Flash decided to do a practice ZvT on B.net before the finals ^^

the commentators suggested that the terran (not hiya) was from a "well-known" clan. don't recall exactly what it was. I think JD didn't have his own equipments (mouse/keyboard) not to mention the commentators constantly talking to him. the latency in b.net seemed pretty bad too...his mutas did no damage so the terran marched into JD's third.
Let me just emphasize how great subtitles would be. I know it's a lot of work, but the community would really appreciate it.
I second this, if it's not too much trouble, it'd be really great if someone could do it. I can't understand korean so i feel helpless D=
i would also appreciate that
Asking for subtitle is too much. However, if a generous Korean speaker could possibly translate some of the hightlights of each episode, it would be greatly appreciated!
Subtitles are unrealistic for something so huge, but it'd be cool if someone wanted to take out a funny game or two, subtitle that, and put it on youtube, like the one FBH bnet attack game that's on youtube.

I think Flash might be appearing in this week's episode. It's supposed to be an MSL special, so the winner appears on Bnet Attack. That's what I heard anyway. I hope it's true.

Subtitled Korean BW stuff is so amazing. Somewhere on youtube there is a game of, I believe Jaedong vs a terran player, can't remember who, on python with english subtitles, and you can learn a LOT about this game from the korean commentating.Watching that match you really see how far ahead of us they are in understanding the game.

-he was going to quit BW last year but Mumyung and Pusan had a long talk with him and decided to give it another go -he had no expectations coming into this season -he's close to all the MBC players but his best friend in the team is Tyson because their personalities match really well. Tyson is quite talkative, unlike Jaehoon -when asked who his ideal type is among celebrities, Jaehoon said he doesn't know their personalities so he can't really say. So the Lee Seung Won said, well you can judge based on looks too. lol So Jaehoon said he likes the Davichi member who sings really well. (No, not Minkyung but Lee Haeri.)

Edit: One of the guys Jaehoon plays is a Courage tournament winner, ie. a semi-pro.
Damn is Baby fast. His screen movement is perfect. He looks at the screen for a second does everything in the next and changes to another screen; never wasting a single click. His rally point changing is even faster than GoRush's!
When does Bisu or Snow get on this show? Can't wait! Hell why is hon_sin going on the show before those two? Or do people just need a laugh so bad :p
Thanks so much Ryo for continuing to update this thread with vods.

Hoping for Carriers v Z and some mind-controlled drones. Or he could play straight-up play as zerg. It'd be really interesting to see how much his low APM affects him with a race other than toss.
I love this series. It's great to watch my Terran heroes play, Baby in particular was very impressive. It's a shame Flash didn't show us much of his Terran though. Any news on when or if Jaedong and Bisu will appear?

What's impressing me the most is how clean is their play, it's seems so simple in their hands but it's actually pretty hard. It's like their eapm is equal to their apm, it's almost art

So hey, 2 questions. 1) What are the smiley faces for in the OP next to certain players? 2) Smix said she had worked on translating some, am I missing them or are they in a different thread? I hope that doesn't come off as rude because it is SO damn appreciated.
From Milkis' twitter: Stork: "If I remained Terran, I would have set Flash's records first. I'd be 'God Byung Goo'". (DES article) LOL Reminds me of what happened on Bnet Attack.
I never knew how delusional Stork was about his Terran play until I watched his third appearance on Bnet Attack (ep. 23)...

I would like to offer something. I will pay 5 dollars paypal to get an episode subbed. I don't even care which one, although obviously I would like to pick them. I feel like translating these is obviously hard as hell but I want it *so* bad. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would pitch in to see some FlaSh or Stork speech.
I know this is sort of like advertising in reverse, so if this isn't kosher I'll delete it.
Glassface, you're talking like 3-5 hours of relatively skilled labour (both translating and timing and possibly editing too). Five dollars isn't the issue for translators, it's just time consuming and tedious work. Add in the frustration of working with a team on the internet (if a different person does each task) and you've got the reason this rarely happens in the SC community. Money would also just kind of add headaches since while some people think of untranslated work as a grey area for volunteers, it's pretty pitch black to make money off it.

I said delusional because he kept bragging about how good his Terran play was on Bnet Attack but the games indicated otherwise. Anyway, I was partly joking. Stork talks a lot when he goes on these variety shows and it's pretty easy to get him to start talking about himself, just heap praises on him.

This is one thing that makes me fed-up with Bisu sometimes. It's not a big deal to come on these shows, he should really do it for his fans and to help promote BW too, especially since he is one of the most popular progamers in the world.

Look, bisu is the best. And to be the best, you have to practice. You know how bisu's regime is purely sleep & practice. That is why he needs to be strict.
There was the thing though.. a rumor that one popular gamer had urinary incontinence.. perhaps this could be related to the issue.

Yea, but Beesuit always says that in interviews. You get the sense he hates doing them because it's always.."No really, I don't want to talk" and "Seriously, I don't do anything but play BW" or "I really am as quiet as it seems.."
He's still the main fucking man though. I swear he just doesn't say anything because he knows how crazy netizens can get and he doesn't want to deal with bad press.
Huh, I know thats a pretty stupid question, but how hard would be to translate this stuff? I heard Korean is an "easy" language to learn, and I feel like using my free time for something useful. Say, would a person who is just starting to learn Korean be able to make a half-assed translation? At least it is better than nothing. I can barely speak english but I want to try anyway.

Im pretty sure the reason for bisu's shyness is the following:
He knows he is good. And could be an excellent showman/entertainer So he creates an artificial handicap for himself to use as an excuse for not pursuing a career as an entertainer. In a sense, it is a tool for him to feel more comfortable about the choice of being a pro gamer. The reason he needs to feel more comfortable about it is this: his unwillingness to admit mistakes. He would have to admit being a progamer is a mistake compared to other career pursuits available for him given his looks and intelligence. So conclusively - being shy is a means to feel more confident about being a pro gamer which is necessary because it helps to avoid confronting his deep perception about progamer career choice being unoptimal given his abilities.
Bisu isn't really that shy. He's got a few celebrity friends and he does go out quite often. But like TheGlassface said, I think he just doesn't want netizens gossiping about him.
pretty sure Bisu used to be pretty cocky and confident in his interviews (Hwasin = insurance comment, saying that God wanted him to win the Clubday MSL, etc) and such, but then after his slumps/failures I think he's decided it's better to just be more reserved with his comments and humble
Also really wished they lined up more Zergs to throw at Bisu, my jaw dropped during that PvZ on FS..

Probably. But we've still got several more episodes to go until that happens.
Quite an interesting topic though. Maybe MBC doesn't want to make it too public that they're turning into a music channel but B.Net Attack keeps talking about the next time bisu is on the show.
They obviously don't want to gloat that this will be the last time he's on the show but if this show were ending soon, why would they give false hopes and point towards the next time bisu is on the show..
EDIT: Didn't know we had until the end of the year before MBC shuts down.. Here's hoping for one more Bisu episode...
- His multitasking and macro is fucking insane. - I think the third nickname the commentators gave him (not the "God of Explosions" or bulldozer ROFL) - Park Ma Chao - is pretty funny and fits him right. He just wrecks people in the face with his play.

I'll happily upload it to nevake alright, I'd just rather there was no money involved. And it will take a long time to do, about ten minutes for every minute.
Involving money like this reminds me of SC2, where apparently everything is about money, so I echo moktira's opinion on that. The BW community has always been about volunteer work and it should stay like that.
he managed to win every single game, was that a first for this season? I do believe they said it hadn't happened yet during Reach's episode, so I was curious if anybody caught that.

well, i really do echo your notion about not being it about money in the bw community, since i really do cherish this community a lot. but i am seriosuly doing this mostly for community. few bucks for working probably 6-8 hours on it is definitely not worth it without having the primary reason (i can easily tutor people for 50/hour if i actually wanted to make money), hence I still consider it "volunteer" work
i just think of it as added incentive to get me started on this big project.
but if you are really opposed to it, i guess i will have to think about it a little more (i will still probably do it)
and yes, i realize you put in insane hours for the community for no money at all, moktira
but you are basically saint and a god, and i am not
he was an gosu amateur that they selected. jaedong played him last bnet episode and lost playing zerg. jaedong was obviously furious and sought revenge

I mean, I do appreciate the sentiment but I can only look at it as I want something and I can't get it for myself. I'm extremely grateful to everybody who donates their time to the BW community in various ways, especially translation, but if something I would like doesn't pick up a volunteer that doesn't stop me from wanting it. I'm certainly not going to expect somebody should just pick it up and do it because I want to it, so I'm happy to provide some money to a project that otherwise somebody couldn't justify their time doing.
There are definitely some problems with the idea of monetary involvement (just in the community without even getting into copyright) and I don't know how I would feel if this became common place or a significant factor in the process of projects but I just don't see that happening.
Let me just explain why I feel so strongly about there being no money involved in this.
This whole community has worked tirelessly for almost ten years and brought free service from volunteers who gave up hours every day to make it what it is. I sat on my ass for over three years doing absolutely zero work, watching VODs, reading articles, watching every single episode of Nal_rA's Oldboy (and being disappointed when there was a delay one week even though this was a free service) and all this time I barely uttered a thanks. But then, one day, I began uploading and now do it virtually every day. I could not have done this if so many people before me hadn't made this community what it is.
But it's not just VODs, everything is so accessible and easy to find, there's so many articles about the scene, explaining what is going on, etc. If things were harder to find, or there was even a nominal fee to join I would never have bothered, I probably wouldn't even have found those VODs that got me interested in the first place and never known what I was missing. Similarly, absolutely everybody here, is here because of those reasons. You would not be here if it wasn't for years of labour of others to make this website what it is and make all these VODs available. The majority of us wouldn't even know about the Korean scene.
And then there's the whole question of where the VODs come from. Did you ever wonder why a few months ago I'd serious trouble getting VODs from MBC yet now I generally get MBC VODs twenty minutes after the event happened, we usually get part 1 of these Bnet attacks on nevake before part 2 is finished broadcasting. Look through this thread and you'll see after a few weeks we couldn't get anymore episodes and then on page 21 all of them are uploaded. So if you get some money for translating are you going to give some percentage of your profits to the source of those VODs? Without that you wouldn't be able to make any money so it's only fair. And then do you pay that person again to upload them to nevake for you? Well I don't want any money for this but I also don't want people making money off the service I provide.
And people know me, people see my posts on the Small VOD Thread, and I'm now well recognised at this point and thanked a lot, but so much goes on behind the scenes that people have no idea of, there's so many people who have done so much more work than me in the past and do equally as much today. Look at TLPD for example, if you want to find any game that has ever happened you can search for it so easily, and then over 10,000 of those games have VODs. Do you know who coded that? Do you know who added all that data? Do you know who currently adds every single game and continually updates it? And now do you know how much money those people get for it? Nothing.
Similarly with streamers, I know one streamer who pays for a Korean VPN to help stabalise the streams. They regularly get up at crazy hours and broadcast games for thousands of us and they're so consistent and reliable. And none of them have any financial incentive. Same for every other translator, look at this whole thread, how much work the creator of this thread puts in here to keep us updated of this programme but also so many other things. Would you have known Bnet Attack had started up again without him? I wouldn't have, so I guess he's entitled to a portion of the profits too.
None of these people ever ask for or expect any money. And without it none of us would be here. All of them just get up and do it, they don't wait to be asked, they just pick it up and do it. If one of them did come into a thread and say "I could do this but it would be nice to get some cash for ir", I'd just think, if that's how you feel don't fucking bother. Someone else may come along someday and do it for free.
Who's to say, one of the people here may also not do much now but in two years time begin to contribute every single day. You'll get more respect and appreciation if you just go ahead and do it -- and even that's a weak argument, you shouldn't do something to gain respect or appreciation, you should do it because you want to do it, it's something you'd like to see done and it's a service you can provide. This community is built up of contibutors who have never asked for anything in return. As you said yourself, you could easily make more money doing something else, so if it's money you're after then do something else. And to the people saying they don't mind paying for something they want, fine, then get together and hire a professional to do it and get it done perfectly.
Quick note, at the very end of Odin's episode, at around 37:08 ish, the host mentions that the season would most likely be the last game broadcast on MBC... unfortunately.
At the same time, he's confident that they can get another channel sponser so it's not the end of *New Name*Game!

Well that would be FUCKING AWESOME!!!
Also when you say the season would be last broadcast how many more episodes do we have left in this season?
I think it's just him being optimistic, tbh. Because the way he talks is like, "this is not the end, but the start of a new beginning", "just because we've hit a bump doesn't mean we've reached a deadend", "i've been working well for 11 years in this industry, and I'm confident I can last longer" etc etc. But I really think that another channel will step up to take over the logistics of MBCGame, just change the branding and keep the staff.
Hm I think he's being optimistic, yes, but I see a channel that will take the cudgels for MBC on a part-time basis. Maybe they'll keep MBC attack and another popular show, and keep BW/MSL/PL and Sudden Attack maybe, but not a 24/7 gaming channel cause the market's too narrow right now.

The Odin episode was Lee Seung Won's last live broadcast until further notice. He's going on vacation. Someone asked him on twitter whether MSL will take place, he said he doesn't know.

I think this is hugely misleading. The caster (lee seung won) was saying this will be the last game broadcast for him at mbcgame (very sad btw..). Indeed on the next episode (reality), he was replaced by intotherain.
No mention of "another channel sponsor" or anything like that. He just said he wanted to remain optimistic that he can cast games in the future, stated in a vague, unspecific way.
Thanks for uploading this moktira. So many good players have been on lately. Pity there's no CJ player, I'd really like to see Snow, Leta, Movie and Horang2
This thread is amazing. Thank you for updating it consistently. The show is great, but it really makes me wish I could understand Korean. I'm watching the BaBy episode now!
Just noticed the oov episode on youtube! Holy shit! I'm so hyped for watching this!! I agree subs would be awesome - Hoping some really awesome people will step up!
Apparently Hyun was a track and field athlete in elementary school. He competed in the sprints and in the 1500m. His 100m time was ard 13s in elementary school. He did track and field for 3 years and then started gaming. o.o
Edit: I need to start watching more of these Bnet Attack episodes. The only ones I've finished watching so far are Sea, Stork, Jangbi and Jaehoon's episodes.

Thats pretty dang fast for elementary school (assuming Elementary school KR age similar to what we know in US)
that proxy DT I said to myself: Prepare for an kamasutra of cheese!, instead I saw
one of the solid-est plays in B-net attack, He barely shown anything that can be called APM, his screen was smooth almost like a caster screen, not any signs of caffeine addiction and insane clicking, a million commands to do a single thing,+ Show Spoiler +
and yet he magically find that perfect moment to move vultures between tanks and goons, or recall an hydra push to cut off corsairs.
Not to mention that he macros like a swiss clock, every 3 seconds he's back to base... + Show Spoiler +
He crushed his opponents by sheer macro and positioning, and
I might be wrong here but I don't think he got supply blocked at all.
Seriously this is one of the best bnet attack episodes for viewer experience and educational purposes...
Cheers everyone...
Edit, I though I might be too selfish sharing, so I spoiler-ed as much as I could.
Currently watching today's Bnet Attack with Sea...
-Living in the Itaewon apartment already with the other 5 players -His salary is second highest in the team -This is his last appearance on Bnet Attack -He's never lost on Bnet Attack before -Shark plays well in practice but not so in live broadcasts (sounds like an MBC disease to me) -Sea's favourite SNSD member is Jessica
OMG..I'm in the op mbcgamesba channel right now and it's live right now!!! but I don't own a tv and even if I did I don't have the korean mbc channel LOL. man i wanna participate so bad t.t..it's freakin stork the 4 pillars of starcraft.

You can type messages/questions to him too. Mention that you're a foreigner and they might read out your message.
So according to Coach Choi, Proleague is just about to start which goes well with the rumoured November 19th start date. Sounds good! Very much excited!!!
Are there any coaches/managers who are really bad at BW? Seems like they keep getting these coaches and they're all pretty great, even if a bit cheesy. Somehow I wouldn't think excellence at BW would be a requirement for a coach. After all, lots of coaches in other sports were pretty awful at their craft.
Maybe I'm just confused because I'm terrible at BW

Many of the current coaches/managers played BW at the pro or semi-pro level before so that's why they're quite good.
Edit: Eg. Khan's entire coaching staff were former pros.
If you've downloaded the MBC torrent (part 3), there are VODs of a friendly tournament that MBC once held for 4 coaches. Coach Park, Aficionado, kOs and Coach Han were the competitors.
That doesn't look like Violet, he looks like he's also wearing a stars uniform? Guemchi me thinks
I would guess that, besides, isn't Violet still recovering from leukemia? Or is that finally all over with? I haven't heard much about it since about May or June.
And yeah, after some researching, I see GuemChi, Hyuk, and HiyA.

I know that some of them went to OGN to cast BW (like 2 or 3) but what about the rest ? anyone knows ?
Lee Seung Won and Yoo Dae Hyun went to OGN. Park Sang Hyun, intotherain and Shark are still working on the few shows MBC is currently airing. I don't know what Kim Chul Min is up to. There was talk some time ago that Rookie would move to GOM but that hasn't happened yet.

From what i understand those are the very last episodes just before the complete shut down of MBCgame. I dont know if MBCgame is already dead or have few days left

We're in the midst of a PL season so it wasn't easy for them to get any big-name players onto the show.
There's another episode after Coach Park's appearance, which featured 2 other MBCGame hosts.
